If you think it's okay for a doctor to be unreachable and incommunicative to the family of an acute patient, ignore requests for information, check in randomly on his own schedule, be defensive and hostile, and ultimately value his own stats ahead of a patient's life, he's your guy. Can't stress enough how poorly he supports the patient's family, to the point of causing increased stress at a most vulnerable time. Really, he seems to think that it’s not part of his job to communicate.

Dr Petit helped me in the hospital when I had pnemonia. His bedside manner was...wacky. He is funny! His jokes (yet total confidence!) made me feel very at ease.
