Dr Wilharm used to treat my son. My son passed by suicide. Wilharm’s office never once reached out, as if my son never meant anything. Wilharm never responded to messages and was never punctual.

This doctor misdiagnosed me and put me on 2 awful meds: Navane and Latuda. Perhaps do not go to this doctor unless you believe yourself to be schizophrenic. I read the notes he had in his chart about me and was very upset. He said I was paranoid about people having access to my computer and phone... guess he forgot to mention the part about the jealous boyfriend I was living with at the time who was going though all of my messages and angry any time I talked to anyone.
This is how he justified a misdiagnosis of psychosis when the truth is I have ADHD and was living with an asshole. I did try to commit suicide but that’s because I had a terrible living situation not because I was schizophrenic. His diagnosis and treatment made my jealous ex and over controlling (well meaning but over bearing) parents feel like they were justified in stripping away my autonomy and choices. His treatment truly made my quality of life worse. I sincerely hope that he helps some of his patients. However, even if his intentions with me were good, that does not mean the impact he had on my life was. I hope he realizes that you need to actually listen and understand your patients before diagnosis and shoving meds down their throat. Before Navane and Latuda I had a semi-photographic memory which is incidentally how I was able to somewhat compensate for my ADHD. After those awful meds I could not even remember passwords into my email accounts. My life mattered too, a serious thought, I hope he knows that. I am still not over the emotional pain he caused me or the self esteem and dignity he took away from me by limiting autonomy, ability and justifying the actions of those who wanted control over me. I forgive him and hope that this is not the experience of all his patients and I hope if he reads it he will take it to heart when dealing with future patients. I have a hard time trusting anyone in the field of psychology or psychiatry now. It’s similar to racism and policing... it’s hard to trust those who are supposed to be there to serve and protect you when you suffer at their hands. I do understand there are probably good psychiatrists out there and I hope that this doctor is capable of becoming a better one by reading these words. I would like an apology from him but know I will probably never get one even though it would be very healing for me to hear him take responsibility for his actions and know that he cares that he may not have intended to but did do harm to one of his patients. Just to let you know how deeply this hurt goes I have not been his patient since 2013. I do truly mean these words to help both this doctor re-examine things and as a way to ensure that future patients of this doctors can be aware that he may not be suitable for treating certain conditions. I have read some positive reviews about this doctor but they were from clients whose demographics and problems were much, much different than mine.

Waited over an hour for appointment only to be told he had 4 people waiting ahead of me. Demanded a refund of my copay and left. Glad I did considering he consistently gets 1 out of 5 stars for patient care.

ALWAYS LATE! Not just a few minutes we are talking over an hour late every visit. He doesn't take the time to really visit with his patient instead he is too busy writing those scripts. He should really lessen the number of patients he sees on a daily basis. He is doing a disservice to his patients.

I don't think he cares about me. I'm so depressed, and he threatens to throw me into a mental hospital! As a teenager, I myself know this is not the proper response. Do not waste your time on him.

The guy can't tell time to save his life. - Oh I forget his time is more valuable than the patient. orders up meds with limited information. appears more concerned with quantity over quality. If you ever need to speak with him other than face to face. forget about it. He will not accept phone calls or emails.. Are you serious ?????

Worst doctor ever, never asked how I was, over prescribed me and was always late by at least a half hour. It was always how are your meds working, prescribe dose leave. the last time I saw him I told him I wanted to be on a different med, he put me on a super high dose of concerta, whoch he said a low dose of concerta is 108mg. I have since switched doctors.and they still havent have not transfered my records. NOT HAPPY

Wildly unimpressed with Dr. Wilharm. Aside from giving out drugs like candy, he's pretty useless.

Worst Psychiatrist and clinic I have ever come into contact with. 2 hr. wait. Never returned a call in 9 months. Overmedicated I hallicinated for 2 mos. until I started to vomit at home.Frighteningly wrong about diagnosis, refused to acknowledge all past psych testing and diagnosis. He almost killed me. Drug pusher w/out consequenses. Totally disrespectful. I think its called grandiose behavior. Very sad for his patients.
