Professional and compassionate; highly recommend!
Dr. Corasanti not only helped me through a bad UC flare up and horrible advice from a previous gastroenterologist, but noticed a thyroid problem just by looking at me! I had been to other doctors and they didn’t even notice. This office helped put me on the fast track to feeling better!
I cannot thank this doctor enough!

Called to schedule an appointment but was refused because I have been treated previously by another gastroenterologist.
So, if you are in that situation, save yourself some time and look elsewhere.
I only gave one star as a rating because the ratings can’t be left blank. He’s probably a fine doctor if you can get in to see him.

Dr. Corasanti is a fabulous Doctor! Unfortunately, my 21 year old son had severe acute pancreatitis, and Dr. Corasanti has been taking care of him. His bedside manner and how he treats his patients is authentic, and something many doctors can learn from. He's very knowledgeable, skilled, and we trust him completely. He genuinely cares about my son and is determined to find root cause. I will, and have recommended Dr. Corasanti to my friends and family. I can't thank him enough for what he's done for my son and my family. He's a brilliant doctor!

Was always known as one of the best " scope " men in the business. Had two colonoscopies with him thus far without drugs at my request and plan to have a third the same way. In 2000 with a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer he was my primary G.I. Dr. and I trusted him completely. I find him to be a very skilled, compassionate Doctor with a great bedside manner and would recommend him to anyone. PS - related to a Doctor who before retirement carried a lot of weight in medicine locally and state-wide. Upon first inquiring about Dr. Corasanti in 2000 I was told he was very highly respected by other Doctors with a good rep.

After going to my Primary Care Physician, A GI doctor at Gastroenterology Assoc, the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Coresanti was able to find the underlying cause of my symptoms after 2 visits! He is the best! I can't speak for others experiences but he has always taken the time to answer my questions and fully explain everything to me.

I have had 2 endoscopy's by Dr. James Corasanti over the past 5 or 6 years I saw him both before and after at the hospital on both occasions, and I fully expect to see him on my follow up visit to discuss if any changes are to be made to medication for GERD.

My experience with corasanti was not that exceptional. First, did not see him except for approximately 10 seconds. Second, he does not talk with patients after they have a colonoscopy. They are forced to make an appointment, to go over the results in his office. Third, he doesn't even see you for that appointment his P.A. Talks with you. Overall you'll do way better at gastroenterology associates.

My ratings are based on Dr. Corasanti in the functions of his professional duties and nothing else. He was very kind and took the time to answer all my questions. When I had a procedure performed at Kenmore Mercy, he did a perfect job. I was disappointed when I learned that there is a possibility he may be leaving the profession.
