Biography
Dr. Munns attended the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery residency at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. A board certified cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, he practiced for more than 35 years in several locations in Illinois before joining the Baxter Regional staff.

Dr Munns replaced my mitral and aortic valve. After the surgery I grew weaker and weaker and Dr, Munns couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I then asked Dr, Geiss to look at my case and within an hour he spotted the problem. The mitral valve was leaking. I scheduled surgery and Dr. Geiss replaced my mitral valve. I am back on my feet and feeling great thanks to Dr, Geiss.
