Misdiagnosis, then delayed diagnosis of an Appendix weeping in Vanderhoof resulted in an ambulance ride to Prince George hospital where i unfortunately was operated on by Dr. Michelle Sutter. As a result i moved south months afterward, searching for better medical treatment. It was suggested to me to see Dr. Sutter so i made a 1600k round trip back to PG. DrMichelle Sutter had about 30 rude seconds for me and suggested suicide as an option. As shockingly unprofesional as possible. As a result 17 years later i feel as though my botched surgery happened a days ago, no relief, and with 4 subsequent surgeries in the same area i can not recommend Dr Michelle Sutter and i hope someone with some authority reads all these reviews and takes action.

I went in for urgent surgery after arriving in the ER. Met Dr. Sutter prior to entering surgery suite and talked briefly about the surgery. She was informative and professional. Visited me regularly during my following week in hospital before release. Business like and professional, but with a good sense of humour and easy to talk to and discuss my case. Visited her office a number of times post hospital to monitor progress until staples removed and arranged for subsequent community nursing care until fully healed. I would not hesitate to have her as my surgeon for any future surgical care. Office visits were great, good staff and always on time.

I have found Dr Sutter to be caring, kind and professional. I can not reconcile my experience with.her to the rating here. Clearly by reading commonalities in previous posts someone has a vandetta. Clearly if even half the negative comments were valid her license to practice would have been revoked. Unreliable rating system.

I went in for a cyst removal and ended up with an ostomy... No Iodine Antiseptic was used... I have had surgeries before and always wake up covered in brown iodin. Not this time...my skin was clear, I couldn't feel that any Antiseptic had been put on me before my surgery. Then Dr.Sutter was unreachable for the entire weekend. The next night my stomace was swollen with infection. All staples had to be removed and I was packed with cotton pads...I had to have homecare for months. Then my stomach got swollen so large I looked was pregnant . I went back to see her. Found out it was a hudge Hernia from the surgery. She didn't offer to fix it, and I didn't want her to. I had lost all trust in her.

She is an Evil, arrogant, no sense of humanity, thinks she is the best. She smiles but stone hearted. She shouldn't ever be qualified to be a teacher at the hospital at all. She is not a good model.

Was in severe pain after gallbladder removal within days and in and out of er requested a fallow up as something was wrong, could not get into her office till 8 weeks after surgery! Suffering the whole time, she said it's been 8 weeks since surgery I'm only seeing you now so your pain cant be surgery related! Never helped me, 7 months after her surgery I'm still suffering!!!! Dont trust this Dr with your life you or your family will regret it

The best I have seen in many years for a surgeon. Very informative before my surgery and very compassionate with an issue the next day in emerg. First doctor that didn't pull on stitches until one was ready to pass out before snipping them and taking them out .. I am so thankful that I had Dr.Michelle Sutter for my surgeon.

Am in hospital and Dr Sutter just cancelled all the follow up tests and antibiotics thatDr Appleby had ordered. Arrogant rude and dismissive.

Sutter did my mastectomy and it was a mess. I have the scars both emotional and physically to prove it. Stop practicing already. Perhaps a competency review is in order. Looking at her reviews there seem to be a lot of unhappy people. Add one more. Retire already.
