worst doctor ever.diagnosed me with cancer told me to find my own surgeon and the office staff is horrible, horrible physician. never go here

Dr. Schwartz is an excellent doctor. She is very personable and her staff is always extremely pleasant.

Took the earliest morning appointment because had to wait over 2 hours last time I was here . I have been waiting over 30 minutes for her to come in and see me and I am the only patient in the office. I will be changing doctors after this. Horrible experience. Find someone else unless you have a lot of time to waste.

Having been a patient of Dr. Schwartz for at least 10 years now I can say with full confidence that she is an exceptionally knowledgable, intuitive and caring MD. She listens attentively and caringly and advises wisely and directly. I haven't found the wait time to be a problem.

This doctor treated me for 5 yrs but I am tired of being there for 2 hours at every visit. You are taken into a room and then you wait and wait and wait for her to come in all the while you freeze in your paper gown. You can wait for her but heaven forbid a doctor waits for a patient. She double and triple books her patients and loads them up in examining rooms to wait around like cattle. Her receptionist made a huge mistake recently with a prescription I never asked for and Dr. Schwartz takes no responsibility and blames her staff for everything. Maybe she should take a good look at the way she runs her office. When it becomes all about dollars and less about patient care, it's time to find anew doctor. Which I did, bye bye Dr. Schwartz, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Being a patient of Dr. Schwartz for almost 8 years now and I need to tell you, that if your looking a doctor who is extremely knowledgable, caring and understanding then find time to go to Woodbury to see this doctor. I always found her to be attentive to my concerns, issues and will take the necessary time to explain any medical questions I have. So I fully understand that keeping your patients informed and comfortable is not run on an exact time schedule. So if your looking for a great endocrinologist go to Dr. Schwartz. If your looking for being on time try the LIRR

Dr. Schwartz is terrific.....The staff working on the perscription line are the worst. They have messed up almost every perscription up to date. I have to call over and over for them to call in my percriptopn correctly. The first time it happened...no problem, the fourth time.....ridiculous. I don't understand how reading the doctor's orders can be so difficult. Someone has to be replaced...for this office to run properly.

I would suggest going first thing in the morn or last patient otherwise there's a long wait. Call first to see how backed up they are. I won't go in the examing room until she is just about ready to see me. Why freeze when you can wait fully clothed and read a magazine? No doctor waits an hour to see another doctor do they?

Waited 1 1/2 hours first visit. Second visit was to see the diabetes specialist. Kept me waiting 40 minutes and then when I asked about things like diet, she said don't eat carbs. Spent 5 minutes with me.
