I will be switching doctors after receiving a bill from a collection agency today regarding a visit to Dr. Lopez. The bill is $35. Dr. Lopez refuses to recode my annual wellness visit properly which requires no co-pay. He claims because I mentioned a skin infection, that the nature of my visit changed and that I owe $35 co-pay. I will note that he did not even look at my infected arm. When my infected arm worsened over the weekend and I showed up for care on Monday Morning, I was refused care because I did not have an appointment. I had to go to Urgent Care. To go to bat over $35 is absolutely juvenile and deserves a merit of non-achievement.

Very disorganized and doesn't seem to really care enough to take the time. he runs a staff of great doctors - go to them instead.
