Referred to Dr. Fletcher for second opinion but he was not helpful did not even bother to look at my childs Mri.

He took my sons case after the fist doctor kepted putting it off. My son had surgery and his headaches and throwing up stopped. He saved him.

While I'm sure he's knowledgable on Chiari malformation, he did nothing to help me or my 11 year old when we went in to see him newly diagnosed with chiari type II. Said a 5mm protrution from the base of the skull is nothing to worry about and all of her symptoms were from different causes. He made all his conclutions without seeing my daughters images. Needless to say I'm getting a different doctor.

Explains everything thoroughly to parents. Tells child what he needs to know and at the child's level, leaving the parents the discretion they need to inform the child of what is going on. Excellent team for MRI's and other testing and worth the wait. Much more complex and precise than what you get elsewhere. They will have definite information, know severity of problem your child has when they are done. Will team w Dr. Baumgartner, others when needed. You couldn't be in better hands than Memorial Hermann and their team of doctors for your child.
