My family and I are forever grateful for Dr. Baskin and his team. He is the top tier and a medical genius. He is very patient and after he performed the surgery I was up and around in total disbelief. He is truly the best. Thank you Methodist Hospital, his team and staff. It’s not easy dealing with a senior and a widow that finds out by accident that she has an issue in the brain. This surgeon is dedicated and again - brilliant. I am grateful for Dr. Baskin who operated on me. When I found out about an abnormality in my brain over a weekend, I immediately looked for a neurosurgeon and called his office on Monday, They promptly arranged for me to see Dr. Baskin via teleconference on Weds. He took his time to review my case and addressed my concerns,

After my first appointment, I was certain I have come to the right doctor who cares about his patients and who is an expert in his field. Dr. Baskin removed a spinal tumor from my 89 yo mother last year amid the challenges of the pandemic. Dr. Baskin and his staff were wonderful and my mother went from a wheelchair to being able to walk again. Words can't express how pleased we were from the first contact with Dr. Baskin's office to the final result.

From the moment I met Dr. Baskin, I felt like I had made the right choice. He took his time explaining every detail and answering all of my questions and my family’s questions. He is extremely professional yet very personable. He listens to your concerns, gives you straight answers and options, and discusses pros and cons. My husband had a brain tumor and I wanted to find the best doctor out there. I found Dr. Baskin and I feel very blessed God led us to him. The surgery went great and the care and attention was just as I had hoped. It's important to know your loved ones are in good hands when it comes to surgery. The office staff are wonderful and return all calls and answer all questions. The wait time was minimal in the office. Surgery happened on time and everything was prepared and in order. I will refer everyone who needs a Neurosurgeon to Dr. Baskin.

I was referred to Dr. Baskin a year ago when a meningioma tumor and arachnoid cyst were found. He is a compassionate, humble, and phenomenal neurosurgeon. He spent a lot of time reviewing the scans and options with me and my husband. Dr. Baskin's abundant expertise and access to latest technology enabled him to drain the cyst and delicately shave the tumor off of the sylvan vein it was attached to and compressing. He even addressed post-op concerns while on vacation. It's been 9 months since my brain surgery. I always refer everyone to Dr. Baskin. He, his staff, and everyone at The Methodist Hospital are outstanding!!

Dr. David Baskin is an extraordinary neurosurgeon! He removed a very large brain tumor with total success. If you are looking for the best, look no further, you have found him. Excellence in all he does. I feel so blessed to have been referred to such a great neurosurgeon.
