I'm stationed out in 29 Palms in the military and was given the option to be referred off base for my wisdom teeth surgery. I was getting all 4 removed so I wanted to make sure I went with a doctor who was very experienced had great patient feedback. I've heard horror stories from friends about getting there wisdom teeth out from just any doctor, so I wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen to me!

I spent about 4 or 5 hours reviewing doctors online and Dr. Robert Ferdowsmakan really stood out. The consult and surgery were very easy to set up, and the paperwork process was very quick. I did not have any trouble with getting anything approved. His office was very nice, private, and quiet and the staff were all very friendly. When I met Dr. Ferdowsmakan he was incredibly nice and kind, and he took time to answer all my questions I had very clearly. The surgery went very well, and I've experienced barely any pain afterwards. I'm very happy with my experience and he is a doctor who really cares about the well being of his patients. It's been a very easy recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Ferdowsmakan, he is an excellent Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.

I am writing because I went to this Dr. only from one recommendation from a random orthodontist and from reading online reviews. Thanks to others who wrote good reviews I went to Dr. F. I went with him bec. he takes my insurance. I had a tooth extraction a week ago plus bone grafting (a root canal that went bad) and he did it with only local anesthesia. I was awake and was aware the entire time. He was good- he did a good job from what i can say. I came back just now from a follow up and he said everything looks good. staff was nice and friendly- patient waiting area was nice, clean and new. He is a nice guy, very caring and called me later the day of surgery to check on me. Overall good experience for what had to be done.

I love Dr. Ferdowsmakan! He's so nice and gentle. I hate going to the doctor and the office made me feel so comfortable. My procedure went very well and I only had a little bit of pain after. And no swelling! Amazing doc.

The Dr. and his assistants are great, he did a great job on my in-plants with almost no pain. His Aid that handles insurance is a little questionable. They seem not to know how to handle claims and they forget to send all required information to the insurance companies causing delays. I had to call and send email to them asking to have all the required information sent to insurance company, so I can get my claim process correctly. I almost think they were doing this on purpose so they do not have to go with the negotiated. I really hope that is not the case. I am sure they all have access to that information and should know better.

This doctor shows no sign of confidence in his work and gives wishy washy answers to questions. After keeping me there for 1 hour to take impressions of my teeth, he had his staff (not himself) call me and tell me he will not be treating me anymore.

Honestly, this is the absolute best tooth-puller I have ever needed. He is gentle, caring and helpful. So are all of his staff. He lets you know exactly what to expect and how it will impact your life. One thing that is very, very special is the follow up calls he makes personally to answer any questions the day after the procedure. I recommend him to all my friends, and now to anyone else who checks this rating system out. He is terrific and I recommend him highly.

I went into the office for an examination of my wisdom teeth. I did not want to wait for another appointment to remove them as I had pain in one of them. The Dr removed them on my first visit. I experienced no pain at all. The Dr was gentle and made sure I had no pain through out the procedure. The staff is kind and gentle as well. I will gladly recommend the Dr to anyone.
