It seems strange that a new doctor would attempt to state the reason for chronic pain given the patient has lived with it for some 20 years and spoken with many specialists who are true specialists in the area and read every piece of published medical literature. This while readily admitting to not having experience with ANY patients with this confirmed diagnosis. These "pain clinics" (as such) are costing the insurance companies tons of money and causing patients considerable time, effort, and money w/o offering effective management. Clearly the guidelines as established in maine for treatment is NOT BEING ADHEARED TO (please take time to read this guideline). It is a mandate that has doctors running scared and one that leaves patients without adequate treatment. Patient care should be left to the medical community without having a rope around the doctors neck for concern for loss of their license or the piece that allows them to write scripts for necessary pain meds. Government involvement needs to stop and the doors to "pain clincs" CLOSED. Good doctors have turned evil out of fear and patients left in pain over the concern for a medicine that may have addictive properties but causes no harm or fewer problems to the body then that of over the counter medicines. It seems the government would prefer liver and kidney damage via maximal dosing with over the counter drugs to that of prescribing more adequate pain control using "controlled drugs". It is a travesty to ALL PARTIES! People who require pain control are treated like criminals, no matter the age, no matter the medical condition. I shame the doctors taking part in all this. Doctor patient relationships are being harmed as there is no trust, no concern other than that of their own liability/sanctions. Blame goes out to the regulatory bodies - GOVERNMENT FOR PUTTING ALL THIS IN PLACE AND THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN.

Not happy with a doctor who lets his patient leave the office in much pain without helping him. My wife and I could not believe that a doctor could have no feeling. He must have never been in severe pain before. Doctors should be required to go a week or more with pain and without medicine, before they can get their license.

I just returned from an abusive appointment with this careless, curt, rude and dishonest "Kazalski", whom I can't bring myself to call a doctor. After a 90 SECOND exam, said he could not find out what was wrong with me (after a decade of diagnosis from professional doctors who care for patients)and could not find a way to "squeeze" more money out of me by injections (his main source of revenue). This quack needs a wake up call. I have been blessed to have the opportunity of working with great, compassionate doctors to help my decade-long, debiliating medical condition. Relocating to Maine has forced me to seek a new medical team of professionals to care for my disease. In this search, I have had the terrible misfortune of running into this "John" guy who thinks he is a "god". Clearly, he has never been touched by pain and should quit his deceptive advertising and should not be allowed to work with the public. Today I learned the meaning of callous malpractice.
