They never return a call from my elderly friend. The receptionist also gave her wrong medication advice without the doctor's knowledge.

When no one wanted to help me comes Dr. Feel Good. This woman is anymeans to be excellent, Love her staff.. Everyone thinks about you when you are in dire pain. There is not one person there who does not have concern about yout. This doctor found out what I had after some blood work where it took me well over 10 years for partical relief. Not everything works but the Infusions that she prescrbed for me were making me feel so much better. I wished I found her long ago.. Thank you Dr. Zito A saint from heaven to me.

Seriously about to lose my mind from the lack of communication in this office. My prescriptions have been messed up so many times that I cannot even count. Dr. Zito is amazing but I’m not sure what’s going on in that office.

I’ve been seeing Dr Zito for three years and what started out as an outstanding experience has become unpleasant. She is a good doctor but lately she’s more concerned with treatment that will be the best billing option for her and not concerned how costs affect the patient. Her staff is horrible and good luck if you can get Melanie or Amanda to return your call. Her nurse, Cathy is mean, condescending, arrogant and treats you like a scolded child. Their billing practices are borderline fraudulent and I’ve been on the phone with the insurance company too many times explaining that I’ve never had treatment for what they’re billing. Makes me very cautious to continue going here. Too bad because I was very happy with Dr Zito and her treatment when I started seeing her. This has become a practice more concerned with making money by promoting infusions and in office injections and less about patient care and experience. There are other rheumatologists to choose from.

The staff is rude, uncaring and lazy! This office need to restructure the office staff. They have no phone skills and customer service. First impression is the first contact in a office. To bad good doctors don’t good staff.

What a great experience! From the moment she stepped into the exam room, it was obvious she had prepared for our meeting. She was familiar with my medical history and knew why I was there. She was thorough, and I did not feel as though she was rushed, even though I knew her appointment schedule was full. She made me feel like I was her only patient. She listened. I felt she was very interested in me as a person and patient. Afterwards, she and her staff followed up on everything we discussed.

I totally agree with the last 2 reviews. . I loved Dr. Zito but her staff is terrible. She gave me so many different meds for RA and nothing really helped me in the 4 yrs that I saw her. I switched to another rheumatologist and the blood test showed that I don't have RA, just osteoarthritis, which I've known about for years.

Dr Zito has a charming personality and I love her personally, but I wonder why she diagnoses so many of her patients with so many different conditions, most often auto immune diseases, all of which she says need medication, treatments, ultra sounds, infusions etc and all of it - along with much blood testing - must be done in her office only. The drugs and treatments aren't without risk.

My experience is being diagnosed with a number of diseases for which I have absolutely no symptoms. I have gone for a second opinion, and all tests came out normal in the consulting facility. That makes me suspicions. I have been told that they take part in a lot of clinical trials for drugs in that office. I don't know what to think.

In general, I dislike the focus on illness and drugs as opposed to wellness.

The staff there is the worst I have ever encountered. I have waited for more than an hour for someone who wasn't even in the office that day, waited more than an hour and had the person I was to see tell me I was not on their list and I should come back, waited more than an hour to be called in finally by students who wanted to "practice" on me when my appointment wasn't for anything that needed that. I have had lab specimens mishandled and therefore obtained very scary - and incorrect results so it all had to be repeated. They failed to send requested labs to a hospital where I was scheduled for surgery and that caused a major problem when I was going into the operating room and the anesthesiologist realized that I had no labs in my folder. Etc. etc. etc. My complaints in writing were of no use.

Due to all of the above and much more, I will never go there again. The charm of Dr. Zito can't counteract the rest of it.

I totally agree with the person below. I love Dr. Zito but the office and staff are not desired. I never get return phone call and if you need immediate attention this is not the place for you. I have been considering going to a different dr. But I love Dr. Zito so much I'm torn.

Dr Zito is one of the best doctors, very knowledgeable, kind, caring and connects with you as a patient and I have been going to her for several years. The office procedures and staff however are the worst and the wait times are impossible. God forbid if you have a reaction or problem with treatment though because you will not be able to be seen or get back in until your next appointment which is usually 3-6 months away because the office management is so opposite of Dr Zito - non caring and place procedure rules higher priority than seeing to excellent patient care. So sad and frustrated with this aspect and I do not recommend the suncoast internal medicine practice to which she belongs.
