He over froze a SK on my face and now I have a permanent white mark where there is no pigment. He did not disclose that I could lose all pigmentation with this removal technique. There are superior techniques for removing an SK, including using a Skin Classic. His response to this issue was, "it doesn't matter you are going to get more marks on your face as you get old". Basically, deal with it, I don't accept any responsibility for proper application of liquid nitrogen.

I saw Dr. VanDeGraph fir skin cancer. I loved him! He was very kind and compassionate. He explained everything step by step what I would feel during and after the freezing. He stayed in the room for awile afterwards to make sure I was ok. (I'm a wimp when it comes to pain) I would highly recommend him. Best dermatologist I've ever had.

Very poor listener. Lacks compassion. You are just another patient...a number.

This was the rudest most obnoxious doctor I have ever seen in all my 72 years. You couldn’t get me back there even if there was no charge! How this man keeps patients is a mystery to me!

He was nice enough, treated me like a human being, I didn't find him mean or cold. I had a face rash while pregnant and he was able to identify it almost immediately. However he only offered one option (heavy antibiotics for 3 straight months!) and wasn't even aware that that is a very unideal situation for pregnancy. Yes, they're considered class 2 "safe", but that's meant to be used if not taking that drug is worse. A face rash isn't worth 3 months of drugs!!! I went home with his accurate diagnosis and researched simple, easy home remedies that fixed the rash without any antibiotics. I wish he'd been more knowledgeable about a) the effects (and dangers) of longterm antibiotic use during pregnancy, and b) the million simple home remedies that he could have offered me instead.

Very poor at listening. May be a competent surgeon but lacks broad clinical skills. If you want a doctor who is thoughtful and a good communicator, look elsewhere!

This doctor obviously garnished his title on the back of the US Air Force. He should in no way shape or form be practicing any form of medicine on humans. Worst seen to date....

I have been to many dermotologists in at least 4 different states. Dr. Van De Graff is by far the best I've experienced. He is extremely thorough in his annual exams and treatments when I have a problem. Last year I had 2 melanomas and his treatment completely removed the cancer and I felt completely safe. He is the best!

Dr. Van De Graaff is absolutely excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and thorough. He quickly, and correctly, diagnosed the issue, provided the full range of options along with a very thorough breakdown of the pros/cons/side effects of each. While he was very quick and intelligent he was also in no rush and spent his time taking us through all the options...he explained them more clearly than I've ever had any doctor of any type do (Internist, GP, Podiatrist, etc.). His staff is fantastic as well, very very quick and helpful. -Bruce

This doctor forever lost a first-time patient. Never in my experience with any physician have I ever met one less friendly and less caring. His examination was the ultra heighth of perfunctoriness. I hate a dermatologist who has poor skin-side manner!
