Whoever wrote this above is completely incorrect. You have no basis for your facts and Dr. Potter is one of the most acclaimed radiologists out there. She is friendly and truly cares for her patients. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Potter is one of the best out there. What she can see on an MRI is amazing... she just knows her stuff better than other doctors reading an MRI. And she has developed techniques to make the process more comfortable for the patient, like not making me have the gadolinium dye injected when it wouldn't add anything to the final result. She has saved me from unnecessary invasive procedures and has been willing to stand up other doctors when what she sees in the MRI says that they're wrong. She has been very accessible for what is considered a no-patient-contact role. My doctors love her, too.

Hollis Potter is a disaster for pain patients. In my case, and routinely, she focuses her MRI on the pudendal nerve, finds nothing or shadows, and diagnoses nerve entrapment anyway. Worse, she then recommends surgery in Nantes, France who's doctors do not take patient feedback, and who claim to cure a condition that the European Association of Urologists and Mayo Clinic says doesn't even exist. I was lucky. By the time she advised me to go to Nantes, I knew the Nantes doctors were quacks, and many of their "cures" continue to suffer horrific pain. I learned there is a maintstream differential for pelvic pain with many possible explanations (inguinal hernia, kidney stones, infections) most of which promise cures, and none are pudendal. Googling this, and see: "groin pain" "differential" inguinal infection stone -pudendal -PNE Hollis is totally ignorant of that mainstream world. I am cured -- and bicycling -- something NONE of veterans of surgery in Nantes can claim. AVOID!
