At my consult she told me they could close my spaces and they never did, 3 years of nothing and a waste of money and I’m still dealing with3 spaces where my primary teeth are missing. Very terrible and a money grab! Then she gave me a retainer with fake teeth on it to keep the spaces, like seriously. The day after my braces came off, I got my wisdom teeth out and she’s like “not my fault if your retainer doesn’t fit after. You’ll have to buy a new one” very rude to me and didn’t listen to my concerns.

I previously saw Dr. Cohen for my own orthodontic treatment and she was fabulous! She always took the time to explain things thoroughly to me and always remembered to ask me how I was doing. I loved my end result so much that I called her office to arrange a consultation for my children now that they are of the age for braces and much to my surprise, she is no longer accepting new patients. I am so disappointed! I loved everything about her office.

We were told originally our daughters braces would be on for1- 1.5 years. We are at 3 years presently and now another orthodontist is trying to fix Dr Cohens errors.
The worst part is what the present orthodontist told us.....dr Cohen did a 3D X-ray before the braces went on and she noticed a cyst/tumor. We were never informed of this. Now 3 years later they have done another 3D X-ray and this cyst/tumor has grown and we are presently waiting for surgery. To not be informed of this is WRONG on so many levels. She does not have the right to withhold this information from us.
It has become very clear to us why she is no longer practicing. Depending on the outcome of this surgery, she might have not heard the last from us.

Dr. Cohen does not care what you will look like after your braces are off. Several times before they came off, I complained, telling her she slanted my teeth and they weren't straight anymore, she said they were fine and did nothing of it. This person does not like to admit her wrong doings. When I had a second opinion, the Ortho said she didn't fix my bite and obviously didn't want to admit to the problem, probably for fear of getting a law suit. If she doesn't explain any alternatives, it's because you're just another set of teeth on an assembly line. She really doesn't care, and just wants the money. I am now getting braces again to get my teeth properly aligned and jaw surgery. Thanks for nothing Cohen.

Dr. Cohen is an excellent orthodontist. She always has time to explain things to her patients. Her staff is very knowledgable and professional. Dr. Cohen and her staff make her patients feel very comfortable when they are in the office for their appointments. I have seen many a beautiful smile by Dr. Cohen. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

She told me my tooth would never come down..She told me is was ankloyssed and "it wasnt her problem & she didnt think she had to give me any of my money back." After going to another orthodontist, he managed to bring the tooth down in a short period of time. Her staff is great but Dr. Cohan is very unproffessional & will not take any responsibility for her wrong doings. Wouldnt advise you to waste any money with her.

This Doctor is horrendous.She told my daughter she would not even look at her teeth until she had seen a speech therapist for her speech impediment.Funny, I never noticed she had one,neither did her dentist and ortho,from another province,or her teachers,her doctor, family or friends.Just so happens her speech therapist she recommends is a family member who called us personally to set up an appt. from her hone phone durig the evening.No thanks.Very offensive and unprofessional.

Dr. Cohen is always on time, child centred and a minimalist when it comes to interferring with cosmetics on children. A level headed orthodontist who makes time for her patients

I had two sets of braces with Dr.Cohen because my wisdom teeth came in and moved my entire lower set of teeth after my first set. I'm not sure why this wasn't seen in x-rays and dealt with before they started coming through. As well, after my second set of braces I started having severe headaches, jaw and neck pain. Dr.Cohen was completely prepared to prescribe a surgery where a section of my jaw would be removed and a metal plate put in. I went for a second opinion with another orthodontist who diagnosed me (that appointment) with jaw clenching during the night. With physiotherapy and a night guard this problem is almost gone. A few months later I received a letter in the mail from Dr. Cohen's office saying that I had been "discharged" as a patient. I would not recommend Dr. Cohen or her rude office staff (at least at the time I went there) to anybody.
