Stay far away from her, she will ruin your life with the way she changes medications with no concern for your.physical well being.

She has no knowledge of what psychiatric medications do to people. Does not believe horrific symptoms that arise from tapering. Should definitely not be licensed.

Dr Lessing is the absolute worst psychiatrist. She has a power trip problem. She treats patients as if they have no rights. She has her treatment plan and does not care what is best for the patient. She needs to lose her physicians liscense. She hurts people more than helps. An investigation should be done on how many patients have gone missing or have committed suicide.

This person should not be a doctor. All of the negative things you read in other people comments are all true. Cold, no empathy, doesnt listen to her patients and lies as well. She told me one thing and my daughter something completely different. How she ever got a licence to practice is shameful. Steer clear of this person

Dr Lessing ruined my life. She acts like a prison guard even with voluntary patients. She made me feel completely like I had no control over anything like I was an involuntary patient. She would make medication changes without consulting with me first. And as she would do that she would drop too much of a medication at once and threw me into withdrawal about 6 times in about 5 months. When I was in withdrawal and begging for help she was no where to be found.. my worker actually went above and beyond and came to the hospital with me which they helped me. When I chose to leave her she wrote false reports to my GP that I was abusing medication which is farthest from the truth. This is malpractice at its finest. Someone needs to investigate this woman.

Dr Lessing is very cold. She does not listen to your worries about side effects or how you are managaing on medications. She has an agenda and that is what she follows. Dr. Knows best. She worked with me for 2 years and made my conditions and health 10 times worse. Constantly changing meds telling me i did not have a choice. I felt.like she was a prison guard more than a dr. She gave me a referral with incorrect history and medication use. I think she needs to re read the Dr. Oath and she ahould be investigated for her practice. Worst experience ever for some of the most vulnerable patients. She should go into a different profession. Terrible psychiatrist

I have C.O.P.D and Dr Lessing took me off all my inhalers, Sabutamol, Atrovent and Flovent. I also have arthritis in my back, neck, knee and ankel. She took me off all my pain meds for this condition without discussing anything with me. I was initially thrown into isolation because the nurses heard me ask my parents over the phone for Ibuprofen for my arthritis. I sat in isolation with no passes for the first two weeks I was in hospital and was then given a pass once a day for a bath to help with my pain. I was on Prozac for twenty years and she replaced it with Zoloft which she then discontinued after only two and a half weeks before it had a chance to take effect. The whole time I was in isolation Dr. Lessing only saw me twice. I find she doesn't listen to the concerns of her patients and makes decisions for them with no regard for thier wishes or concerns and doesn't explain the reasons for her actions. Her "bedside manner" is sorely lacking.

Doesn't listen. Makes assumptions. Defends the poison she prescribes and fails to consider adverse effects of it. She will make you worse. On top of that she is a horrible person. She's OK to see if you have to. Just don't do anything she says. F@#k you, Lessing!

I like her as person, but the medications she prescribed basically ruined my life. I've had to go on disbility because of them. These drugs are the reason there has been a skyrocketing of mental illness in developed countries and explain the revolving door syndrome. My memory, intelligence and stability are al gone. My personality has changed in a major way and not for good. I started out with depression and am so messed up now. I'm just hanging on hoping to see improvement. I don't blame Dr. Lessing. She has been lied to by the pharmaceutical companies.
