Very personable but lacks empathy unless he has similar experiences. In my interactions w/ Dr Stewart, he tries to multitask during my appointment. Without fail, his words coming into the exam room are, 'What's wrong with you today?' I have found the staff helpful, however since they became part of WAKE MED's Barnett Health conglomerate - policy changes are frequent and due to funding issues not all supply needs are met. The staff are really nice especially if treated with kindness.

Great doctor. Listens although he's writting the entire time. Needed to use the restroom and had to get a key from the front desk for a bathroom that is in the lobby. I don't quite get that. The one review about the lab girl is right on. She is one unhappy person,

Great, compassionate doctor. Too bad he works for a practice that truly hates their patients. Whoever it is in this practice destined to create patient care barriers, and there are many, needs to retire or find a more satisfying line of work. Try calling their office once, what an adventure. The signs plastered throughout the lobby show their distain. Don't insult my intellegence with over dramatical instruction, including; capital letters, underlines and exlamation points. And, if anybody finds the lab tech's sense of humor or frendliness any where, will you please return it immediatly? It's a shame to put up with so much to see a great doctor. Just not worth the drive. One sign they need in the lobby to go with all the other should be: walk-ins will be shot on site !!!

this illness lasted longer than it should have and resulted in having to see a specialist many miles away. when first saw this dr for the illness, he laughed and said he didn't know what it was, but to let it run its course.

Dr. Stewart is the best Doctor in the world. He really cares about his patients and will take the time to listen to both you and your problems. Dosen't try to rush you out. Reminds me of the good ol' fashion doctor. The longest I have waited was a day when I walked in....all of about 10 minutes.
