Dr. Bogart regularly runs late and it always take at least 2-3 hours for a simple annual check up. I have seen him for 3 years and have never had an appointment be on time or timely. I've always waited at least an 1.5hrs to be seen by one of the techs before being placed into yet another waiting room. This last visit Dr. Bogart asked me "If I worked" and when I said I did not he said " oh, your a kept woman" I will not tolerate his blatant disregard for other peoples time by continually over booking appointments or put up with his disrespect or condescension. No, thank you.

There is a bit of a scheduling issue at this office, they're always changing my appointments in hopes of making my wait time shorter, but i still wait atleast an hour. this happens at my other doctors appointments too, but i notice it more at doctor bogarts office b/c everyone is complaining about it-even the staff! Dr. Bogart has a great personality and it reflects in his staff. There are visits when he seems less personable but we're all human and nobody is perfect. He corrected my vision with PRK surgery last year and I recommend people to him all the time. My experience as a patient of Dr. Bogart's has been awesome! They have and continue to exceed my expectations.

Wait time is always horrible, at least 2 1/2 hours up to 4 hours. Staff is sometimes okay, sometimes not, but there's a lot of turnover! Everytime I'm there, there's always somebody new and inexperienced. Dr. Bogart can refract but he doesn't want to and wants a staff to do it, but his staff doesn't know how. On several occasions, I've also heard Dr. Bogart call his staff names in front of the patients, or making comments at how inefficient they are, when they are really trying but they aren't being trained. The office manager is terrible and I've even heard him yelling at her in front of patients. Poorly managed for sure. You'd be best to go elsewhere!

My most recent wait time was 4 hours for him to look at my eyes for 15 minutes-yes, I timed him. I have a floater that he claimed would need to be checked every month, then every 2 months (doing research later confirmed what I suspected, that it would NOT need constant checking, and he was only taking $50 from me every time unnecessarily, only to tell me each time "You look fine, just come back in 2 months."). While I was waiting on him, I noticed that the majority of the other patients felt like he had forgotten them too. Several of them were already seated in their rooms but they waited so long that they kept coming out to look around to see where he was! He doesn't seem to be able to NOT overbook his schedule. He doesn't want to answer questions in a way that would let you ask more questions, his answers are very "This is how it is and you'll just have to accept that." The lesson I learned is always do your own research and check/ask around!

I WAS TRYING TO GOT A PAIR OF GASPERMABLE LENS. I HAD A LASIK SURGERY IN 2000 WHICH CAUSED THIS TO BE A VERY DIFFICULT PROCESS AND I TOLD THEM SO ON THE FIARST VISIT.THEY TRIED THREE DIFFERENT SETS OF LENS ON ME BUT I STILL HAD TROUBLE SEEING. I ASKED IF THEY EVERY HAD A PATIENT WHO HAS EVERY HAD WANTED GASPERM LENS AFTER HAVING LASIK...RESPONNCE WAS YES. THEN, THEY ORDERED A FITTING SETS FOR THE FORTH VISIT. WELL, THE FORTH VISIT WAS A SHORT AND DID NOT GO WELL. ALL IN ALL, I FELT THEY LACKED KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION. SO, I CANCELLED THE FORTH ORDER AND WANTED MY MONEY BACK. I DID NOT GET IT BACK.
