Dr. Olufunto Laseinde's repeated misdiagnoses of my mother's health issues have become a serious concern, both medically and emotionally. The consistent inaccuracies have led to a significant loss of trust in her professional abilities. Adding to the frustration is her lack of empathy and dismissive attitude during interactions, which only compounds the stress of dealing with health problems. The communication issues with Dr. Laseinde are extremely hard to deal with. She seems unwilling to listen to our concerns, leaving us feeling unheard and undervalued as patients. Effective communication is key in healthcare, and her dismissive demeanor undermines the collaborative relationship that should exist between a doctor and their patients. Furthermore, Dr. Laseinde's tendency to discuss potential health complications without conducting necessary tests adds to the uncertainty and anxiety. This raises questions about the thoroughness of her approach and the reliability of the information she provides. Addressing these concerns promptly is crucial for the well-being of my mother and the confidence of her patients.

my 78 yrs mom ended up in Richmond hill emergency, vaginal bleeding, 14 cm mass in her ovary. I'm happy we didn't wait and took her to NYGH again the next day. The gynecologist at NYGH did the CT, biopsy, sent the package to Princess Margaret hospital for s surgery right away, same day. After 3 weeks, Dr. Olufunto called for consultation! Seriously??? did she really read the report? With all the stress we are going through, I decided to write this review to help others not to wait for her service and seek other options. Well, her 2.5 points was alarming to me too.

She does not take care of her patients and does not read results on time or promptly so if you want to see her make sure you read your own results. She forgets to call back her patients and if she’s in a bad mood, she’ll brush you off. She gives the worst attitude and simply has no compassion.

My experience with Dr. Laseinde and her clinic staff was terrible all-around. On multiple occasions, I found it very difficult to get into contact with the reception staff despite having called many times, leaving messages, and calling during reasonable working hours. Phone calls and follow-ups were also not provided despite having been expecting these. I found Dr. Laseinde to be very dismissive, curt, and unwilling to explore potential solutions to my concern. My primary concern was pain-related in origin and while Dr. Laseinde ordered an ultrasound to explore the potential cause for my pain, she was entirely dismissive at my follow-up to discuss the results. She asserted that the results were negative and therefore, she refused to look into any further causes for my pain or attempt any other interventions/procedures to manage this. When I asked her what I should do moving forward, her response was to just, "keep trying," to manage my concern on my own. I left her office feeling invalidated, hopeless, and disrespected. Upon finding another gynecologist, she identified and confirmed the source of my pain and was very helpful and eager to explore a multitude of exploratory and diagnostic testing with me, which Dr. Laseinde did not even attempt to propose to me. While I understand there are many patients who have had positive experiences with this doctor, I would not recommend this clinic or Dr. Laseinde to anyone else due to the emotional impact and prolonged physical pain her lack of care had on me.

I am profoundly grateful for the care and kindness shown by this doctor. Her knowledge was impressive, as well as geniality. I wouldn't have felt as comfortable going through my operation with another doctor.
