Her indifference is staggering. For a refill she required me to get a drug test. Which would have been fine except she required me to get it at a place 4 hours drive from me then refused to put the lab order in so I couldn't take it. She makes up things to get out of basic duties. If patients were able to choose their provider she wouldn't have any patients.

I saw Dr. Cromer when I was a teenager. She was quick to diagnose me with depression and was baffled why the medications weren't working. Instead of asking me more questions, she kept prescribing more and more. She regularly confused my hypomania with good moods instead of considering for a second that I might be bipolar.

My high school years were absolutely terrible and I just barely scraped by with a 2.24 GPA while my test scores were very high---I got a 29 on the ACT. My misdiagnosis didn't help out with this at all.

Instead, I ended up in the psych ward four years later and finally got the right diagnosis. I've been with that doctor for four years and I'm finally feeling normal---no thanks to Gretchen Cromer.

I saw Dr. Cromer for several months, and it was the worst experience of my life. Her indifference and intolerance set me on a bad course of worsening depression. She always had her back to me throughout the entire appointment using her computer instead of interacting with me personally. She has a very impersonal, detached manor in dealing with the patient. Many times I felt as though I was bothering her by being there for the appointment. Fortunately I found a doctor that actually was involved in my care. I came through my trauma, but with absolutely no help from Dr. Cromer. I believe she actually contributed to my problem. I actually shudder when I drive by her office in Moline. Please research carefully before you being treatment with her. I truly wish I would have. It might not have taken me 3 extra years of counseling.

I have been seeing Dr. Cromer for several months now, It is clear to me that the bad reviews I have read stem from the few bad patients that are expected(i.e. Drug seekers, people that want to be kept off work, and parents that want to have an excuse for their child's bad behavior.)for every one bad patient there is ten good ones that are satisfied and don't leave a review. I would definitely without a doubt recommend her to anyone. She is very considerate and listens to everything I have to say, I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to get in and they always are nice and accommodating.

Dr. Cromer documented in her own handwriting that I literally, physically picked up my child and RAN from the facility. She apparently had no knowledge of informed consent, or that people have civil rights. I wanted to go around town and staple up notices warning people to avoid her. Like I said, this was documented in her own handwriting. Medical records are legal documents and she entered into the records, that I RAN from the facility.
