My mother used to have him as a doctor before she went in a nursing home. If I had any questions about my mothers health I could call his office and he would return my calls even if he had spoken to my father already. Always respectful, compassionate and respectful to patients and their family members. Wishing he was still her doctor at Perth Community Care.

A great family doctor...caring,knowledgeable and compassionate . I have only 1 complaint and that is I can never get through on the telephone to make an appointment.

Dr. Gauthier always takes the time to listen to all concerns and educate on health issues. He also keeps very thorough records and is a total health professional. I wish there were more like him as the rest of my family has to suffer at other doctors is the area and receive poor care compared to mine.

Dr. Gauthier assisted (anesthesiologist) in an operation I had recently - met him a week or so before the operation and thought how nice he was, we went through my family history from A to Z - was in his office for at least 45 minutes. The day of the operation he stayed with me a good 30 minutes or so before the operation a long time after. He kept checking on me until I was released from the recovery room and ready to go home. He knew that I wasn't very brave - he made sure everything went OK. Thank you Dr. Gauthier

Dr. Gauthier is a compassionate knowledgeable physician. Dr. Gauthier takes all the time needed to go over all matters of concern. He will do research if he feels there is more he needs to uncover. Arriving in Perth from bussling Toronto my husband and I feel we hit the jackpot with Dr. Gauthier looking after our medical care.

Dr. Gauthier has been my doctor since he began practising in Perth. I have found him to be very caring and with a nice bedside manner. I'm pleased to have him as my doctor.

Number one priority seems to be to write a prescription. Didn't seem to be interested in exploring any symptoms further, or provide any information on treatments until it was finally dragged out of him. A small amount of research (or discussions with other medical practitioners) will help you more, in my opinion. I would rather wait hours on end in emerg for an alternative than have a timely visit with this doctor.
