Peter has been our Dr., for 21 years now. I initially saw him in emerg for my 5 year old son. I had been to emerg a few weeks before for my son's cough and the female Dr., prescribed antibiotics. Well they didn't work. I was pretty sure it was his asthma. Sure enough we saw Peter and he prescribed inhalers and said it was definitely his asthma. Turns out he went to Queens with my Dr. at the time and dated her sister. I discussed switching Dr.'s because my Dr. was in Kanata and we were living in Perth. He said no problem call the office and we will take you on as a family. My Dr. at the time totally understood and was happy it was Peter we were switching to. She said you will be in good hands. We truly have been. It's about building a repor with your Doctor and I always take the time to say hello and ask how he is doing. I always did that with my previous Doctor and we had an excellent repor as well. Peter was truly amazing when my husband had is stroke. He was at the hospital pretty much every day checking on him. Doesn't get any better than that! He takes his time with each patient so you will have to wait but when it's your time he spends the time you need with him as well. I have never felt rushed.

Dr. Jechel has been my family Doctor for over 25 years. He has always treated my entire family with respect. He knows when something needs to be looked at closer and quick to set up referrals if needed. He is busy just like all current doctors, so do not expect to get in over night, this is reality.

Dr Jechel has been our family doctor for over 30 years. He is kind and caring and very knowledgeable. He refers to specialists when needed. He can be a bit abrupt when dealing with everyday aches and pains but when I have really needed his expertise, he was patient at explaining every detail. He is not a pill pusher but nor does he withhold medications when needed. He's cautious. The addition of diabetic nurse Barb Perrin is a huge plus.

It takes over 6 weeks to get an appointment with him. I finally got in and he was 1 hr late for my appt. He is very full of himself and not helpful going as far as to question your honesty. Never in all my years have I ever been told “the computer doesn’t lie”. The computer doesn’t lie but the people who do the input do mess up on occasion! Note to doctor, trust your patients, who firstly have no reason to lie, plus you have known for over 10 years to be an honest and trustworthy person. Looking for a new doctor!

Peter is a great guy. He relates to your everyday life weather the going is good or your experiences some of life challenges. He is also great with kids.

Dr. Jechel has been my mother's doctor for many years. She is now 93 years old. He is above all kind to her. He listens carefully and answers her questions fully. He is available when he's needed. We are very grateful that he's Mom's doctor.

Dr. Jechel has been our Dr. for over 15 years. We are now 70. I would have to say that we could not ask for a better doctor. He is always polite and patient and very knowledgable in his field. If we have a problem he cannot handle, he refers us immediately to a specialist to help us.

Dr. Jechel was often rude and impatient and didn't really listen. At least he finally hired someone to answer his phones. I didn't get good medical care with him. And the wait time to get an appointment was usually between 3 to 5 weeks.

Dr Jechel is exceptional, listens carefully, answers questions well and gives great advice on staying healthy. His punctuality is not a 5 but that's OK because he takes the time he needs to communicate well.
