Dr. Barkun is the nicest and most knowledgeable doctor I have ever known . He’s been my gastroenterologist for 6 years now . He answers my emails . And prescribed the proper medication for my barrets esophagus . And gerd . Had multiple endoscopes and colonoscopies . Never had a bad experience . He is a true humanitarian and I am blessed to have him as my doctor . Seeing him on Feb 22 at MGH

I had a colonoscopy done by Dr Barkun several years ago and I never forgot him. I needed an endoscopy done now and requested my doctor to give me a referral for Dr Barkun once again. He is in one word AMAZING. I didnt feel a thing for either test. He saw how nervous I was and took care of making sure I was fine. Just got a call from him to follow up and see if I was doing well. I recommend him to everyone. Top notch doctor in my opinion. Thank you Dr Barkun.

I recently had a colonoscopy and Dr. Barkun lived up to his reputation of being a top shelf specialist and then some. His manner was soothing and his comments throughout the daunting procedure (my recollection of which is naturally cloudy) were reassuring. Results were provided in a timely manner and his staff members were perfect.
