Moved from Arizona where I had a long-standing professional relationship with a psychiatrist. Dr.Diaconu was the 3rd Psychiatrist I've seen & what a great fortune she has been for me. Dr. Diaconu conducts appointments with the professionalism I expect from a psychiatrist, meaning that she observes in order to properly diagnose and then follow with treatment. (understanding that her role as a psychiatrist differs from that of a psychologist or MSW, where the approach is that of talk therapy vs medical therapy).

She was late, then made me wait an hour to get off the phone before she was even willing to talk to me. Diagnosed me with about half the DSM to justify putting me on so many medications that I didnt wake up for three days.

Absolutely outstanding! Intelligent and thinking. She is the 4th doctor to treat my ugly depression and only one who succeeded. I am happy now. She is easy to work with and open minded. Most of all isvery effective and quickly resolved what other 3 (UW professors) couldn't. Bit reserved at first but warms up later. She is always tehre to help. Many thanks Dr. Diaconu! I am really grateful to you!!! You gave me back my life.

This woman is repressed and inhibited. She has a moral foundation that would not appeal to many people. She is much too conservative on issues that people would like to bring up, and discuss in a liberal way. She is also a prima donna, floating around, making telephone calls while keeping you waiting. She has a real thing about being in charge of you, making you perfect, telling you that all the pills will work, etc.
