Dr. Dunphy has zero communication skills. Does he not realize patients need some type of explanation about their condition? If I hadn't asked some questions he would never speak.

I have been seeing Dr Dunphy for an ongoing eye problem for 3 years. I find him to be very professional and informative. He has answered my questions and given me all the information I need.

Staff very nice. Over a 2 hour wait. Dr.dunphy was simply rude. Barely spoke. Only when I asked a question did I get a yes or no.
My sight had changed drastically in one year..,his response, wear glasses. I do.

I had my first appointment today. The administration staff are very busy but friendly and efficient. Dr. Dunphy is very knowledgeable, kind and punctual.

Awful! He has absolutely no communication skills with his patients. Most visits he says less than a dozen words, sometimes he doesn’t even say hello. I can’t comment on his knowledge as he doesn’t explain or comment on any questions other than a short comment. When asked what he was doing during the eye exam I did not receive a reply. None of the staff in the office smile or even seem to be happy. And you can never, ever get through to the office on the phone.

Great he gave me back my sight. 50 years coke bottles as glasses. I not so picky as some of the reviews. I went with hope to maintain some sight now I see without glasses. So everything is great for me. Thank you dr Dunphy. Thank you staff.

Ancient office management where two older overwhelmed women run the show where you wait forever in an ancient waiting area. Dr. Derek's lack of investment in electronic filing, staffing, office furnishings and communication and scheduling technology make me question his investment in his own professional competence and his patient concern. Absolutely imossible to get in touch with office and no voice mail...come on this is 2017 Dr. Derek and you are in a lucrative service business paid for by my taxes. But I guess you don't have to care as you are busy busy because of the shortage of eye doctors and you can cotinue to uncaringly run your clinic as if it was 1970. Have you some sense of professional pride?
