the best general surgeon for women in Red Deer but of course all the good ones leave Red Deer so if your in the city she is now in and need to have surgery this is the Dr you should be asking to see. She is by far the best most caring concerned Doctors u will find

One of the few Dr's that seem to really care about the people she sees. Great surgeon, did my breast cancer surgery and followed up with me when I had the smallest concerns. Sad she left Red Deer to move to Calgary but I would recommend her to anyone needing surgery , she is one of best .

We are lucky enough to get Dr. Topstad as a locum in Yellowknife. This was especially true when I needed emergency bowel surgery. Dr. Topstad was helpful, knowledgable and really helped me through a bad time. Great doctor :)

My elderly mother was very fortunate to have Dr Topstad when she was admitted to SCH. She took the time to explain things to the family and went the extra mile. We feel very lucky that she was assigned to my mother's case.

very nice lady! Took the time to explain any concerns I had with hernia repair surgery. The nurses at calgary shc noted I was very lucky to be in the care of a highly regarded surgeon which I definitely agree.

Dr Topstad performed three surgeries for me. She is an excellent, compassionate, knowledgeable doctor. I hope I'm done with surgeries but I would choose her again if I needed to.

Dr. Topstad has performed 4 procedures for me and a few for other members of my family. (She will be doing another for me in the very near future.) We LOVE Dr. Topstad. She is caring, carefull and compassionate. I feel blessed that there is a surgeon of her calibre available here in Red Deer. I trust her implicitly and although I have a recurring (nuisance) problem, she always exhibits the same level of caring and professionalism. I think she is among the best medical professional I've had to interact with over the years!
