Chris was an excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable, explained well, and spent time with patients. Patients put up with the long waits for the quality of care. Staff are nice but have terrible follow through on referrals and pre-surgury clearance

I would highly recommend patients with narcotic addiction to see him.

Dr. Linden is a very knowledgeable, experienced doctor, who has clearly devoted his career to his patients rather than to making money. He spent years caring for patients with A.I.D.S. when the outcomes for those patients were not at all good. I think all the years he has devoted to so many people, for so relatively little money as far as M. D.s go, have taken a bit of a toll on him. Last year he seemed very tired and he took some much needed time off. Since his return he has seemed better, more rested, clearer minded. Probably he should retire before too long for the sake of his own health. I have noticed a little decline in sharpness since I first knew him. I have great respect for him, and give no credence at all to what some have called "inappropriate" behavior. Given that I think he is nearing retirement and not at his former best I would give his practice a B rating. A very good doctor, but getting a bit past his prime.

His staff is competent but sort of rude. It is obvious that taking care of the doctor is first priority, and the patient is second. I found that "kissing a**" helps with the staff. I always try to make early morning appointments, because he can get really behind. He knows his stuff, though. I have been seeing him since he opened, about 20 years. I like talking to him as a fellow human as well as a Doctor. He was in the Rodeo before becoming a Dr, so some of those things others have said about inappropriate comments could because he was a regular guy first. He is no prima dona, and he is a good Doctor.

Dr. Linden genuinely cares about his patients, thus, he spends as much time as he needs with each patient. Because of this, he is often running behind schedule and patients have to wait upwards to an hour for their appt.. I don't mind because Dr. Linden takes his time with me when it is 'my turn,' and I feel like he understands me and my needs better than any other doctor I've seen for years! I've only seen him 5 or 6 times. He is very easy to talk to and personable and has a great sense of humor. He specializes in 'pain management,' but he was very familiar and knowledgeable about several, rather 'rare' conditions I have. I just bring a book or ipad or needlework, etc. with me so I have something to do while I wait for my appt.. Initially when I moved here, I went to the Pahoa Bay Clinic and was terribly disappointed and disgusted! That clinic has the most incompetent, rude, lazy, un-knowledgeable medical providers and staff I have EVER encountered in any medical establishment.

My children has been going to this doctor since 2004 and he was always a good guy but lately he has been smelling like alcohol and very different person..i really think he needs to have a nurse with him in the exam rooms at all times because from what i seen lately my daughter doesnt even want to go to him or any doctor she dont trust him at all the things he says and the way he touches very inappropriate.

I went to this Dr because he is the only one that would take me for the type of treatment I needed. The first visit he was kind of rude and also made inappropriate comments. The second visit was even worse, not only did I wait 3 hours both times but his statements are disgusting and considered sexual harrasment! If you have any young pretty daughters or you are a female don't go to him unless you like to be felt up and spoken to like you are some kind of prostitute!

I visited Dr. Linden many times with my foster child. He was was warm, friendly, and patient with her, as well as being very knowledgeable and helpful regarding her medical condition. He took the time to explain everything and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good G.P.
