This office is a shitfest. I was referred for a sleep study and called to check up in September and was told that the referral had been submitted to Holy Cross and I was to wait to hear back. It is now 11/19/19. I called to see what the problem was and the referral was never sent over. If the study is not approved for before the end of the year, I will be responsible for a large deductible. I may or may not be able to get the study and an appointment to have my MRI evaluated. I'm sorry does not cut it when so much money is involved. It should not be the responsibility of an unwell client to keep a doctor's office in line. I will be advising my medical doctor about their incompetence. After looking over the reviews, it doesn't look like other clients are wild about this office either. I got stuck with this office because the practice that my doctor wanted me to use does not accept United Health Care. We need Medicare for all to put these "goniffs" out of business!!!!!

I had a sleep study with Dr. Klein at his office in Bethesda. I'd only seen one treatment room for an appointment with him; I assumed they had overnight facilities. Well, they had one--which was essentially a twin bed in a utility room not much larger than a broom closet. I was disturbed at least 2-3 times during the night by some staff member coming in to get something, or look at something. I can't believe my insurance had to pay for that!

Dr. Klein is the kind of doctor you want. He knows the latest science, he works with you rather than dictating to you, and is non-judgmental. He will answer all questions. He and his staff are receptive over the phone. It's not that everything is perfect, but if all doctors were like him I wouldn't have such an overall negative opinion of healthcare in the U.S.

I still feel just as confused as I did when I 1st got there. His orders were confusing on the appt notes. He is just not compassionate enough. Im obviously there for a reason and I hate being on all the meds that I am, so beleive me if i didnt have to be here I wouldnt be. From the 1st appt I didnt like this guy, but my Primary care said let him do what needs to be done as far as tests and then we can get a second opinion. Even my Primary care was satistied with his finding and how he was proceeding. so getting another refferal was very easy.

Dr. Klein takes the time to listen to my concerns and to suggest changes in the treatment if needed. He has responded very quickly in case of emergencies. We have confidence in his knowledge and experience.

I would never go to this doctor again. For my Mom after waiting an hour, met with a nurse who typed in info that we had already filled out for him, took about 30 mins. Then he repeated it in front of us to the doc - as he says the doc likes it as in a university setting. After about halfway thru he rushed us out to get an MRI (no examination at all and we had been there almost 2 hours). He was supposed to call that night after MRI but waited until the next morn and said to rush my Mom to the emergency room for surgery. Got offended when i said i wanted a second opinion (they were scared of a stroke after an eye artery incident). Then I talked to the doc he recommended for surgery who told us a) no rush - bring her in, in a week or two b) MRI's overstate and the original sonogram was good! So besides waiting forever, doc was very arrogant and giving faulty advice and unnecessary advice and terrifying my 82 year old mom.

Dr. Klein is wonderful. The monitoring referred to in other posts is a valuable diagnostic tool. I am not sure why people complain about this, it is certainly a huge portion of curing epilepsy. Dr. Klein has been tireless in working to cure my wife's Epilepsy. He has worked through every possible avenue, clinical trial, drug/drug study, and testing. He is always open and honest. No, he can not provide THE answer, many times with neurology you can not give an exact answer. He has always answered every question we have asked to the best of his ability. I would recommend him, WITHOUT RESERVATION, to ANYONE. He is available around the clock and has been a godsend.

first, I spend my time creating a medical history report which took my valuable time only to show up and have to repeat it not to the doc but another guy! Then, I got about 5 minues with the doc only to hear a repeat of my history. Neurologist are like lawyers, they never provide a solid answer and feel their time is more important than your time. Also I heard he likes to send everyone to Holy Cross for a 5 day study! Ok, how much sense does that make if weeks of ongoing stress and less sleep is what brings on my episodes not R&R at a hospital in a room and people watching you 24 hrs a day. I am an active working Mother, it would seem to me that just putting an EEG on for 5 days in your natural setting would provide better results! Opps, insurance doesn't pay as well this way, and BTW, docs get a financial perk from the hospital for "X" amount of patients they send. Bottom line, when you have a rare case, don't go to this guy.

Dr Klein was late for appointment, AGAIN!!! He sent me and another patients for long term monitoring EEG to Holy Cross Hospital and leaves them there longer time than it is needed.(maybe he can charge more the insurence company)...If you are people sent home for long term EEG monitoring, please check for right batteries in monitoring machine. I have to repeat whole procedure after the batteries run out of power.
