Dr. Lessman is an okay doctor. The staff at Elm Avenue Clinic (not the dental side) is highly incompetent. The girl working the front is a poor communicator and has trouble understanding how to do her job.

She was an Awesome Dr. we had her for eight years or more when we moved from Dallas I had been seeing Doctor but they had no concern. I had bee Bleeding from hemorrhoids for a long time and they just said I would be okay, when I told Dr. Lessman she sent me to a specialist and I had to have them removed when they removed them they told me they were staring to become cancerous and I thank God that He sent me to her. Thank you Dr. Lessman we miss you.

She is wonderful and cares about her patients. I went to her because the dr I had seen was rude and ignored my issues. Dr.Lessman took the time to review my records before my first appointment. If she does not know an answer, she works to find the answer. I think she has saved my life and improved my quality of life. She remembers little things as well. I adore her and am blessed to be her patient. She does not waste money on expensive office furniture, so if you want a spa atmosphere, she is not for you. If you want a down to earth dr who cares and will help you improve your health and listen to you, she is the one.

She has been my doctor for about eight years. She was concerned about health issues that were not within the "norm" for other physicians. She referred me for screening for prostrate cancer bwcause she did not like the rise in PSA even though I was well below the 4.0 where doctors are taught to use for screening. I had cancer even though my PSA never went above 4.0. I consider that she probably saved my life. She has been good on all other items as well.

I wasn't taken seriously. I assume maybe because of my youthful look - I am 30, working on my masters degree and far from a kid. She acted a little shy too. All my questions were quickly answered with a no..instead of educationing me more on her answer or heck, even explaining her no's or pointing me in the right specialist direction. I felt like I wasn't important, my health didn't matter to her and as if I was plain wasting her time. I mean why go take all those science classes that must be aced, then head to med school, interning, residence and the long job interviews...to just be as unethical, unhelpful and unattentive as ever. Heck, I was more knowledgeable than she was on my issues... Im not saying she has to be a genius in each issue but at least point me where I should go for my answers. I was raised to be a respectful and open-minded person...so I never showed any negativity or anything during my visit. I would say...with experience, hopefully things may evolve for her...
