So disappointed in this office after 18 years! Called in a prescription on thursday and took to sunday to fill. Additionally asked for an emergency 3 day prescription and not filled....after 8 years on the prescription.....who are they working for???? Are they for us or insurance companies????? Can't wait to speak to Bloom or Norneberg in person!!!! So Not happy!!! MJ

I am a proud parent of a six year old female and 5 month old male. Dr. Bloom is the third and final pediatrician my daughter has had on the Cape. When my husband and I found out that we were being blessed with a son I became concerned as to which doctor would perform his circumsicion. I was determined that my son was to only have the best. So my hunt began and I heard about "THE DR. BLOOM CIRC". This doctor is known as the best circ doctor on the cape. After some research I called the office and scheduled for a consultation with Dr. Bloom regarding my son's circ. I could not believe this doctor or any doctor would spend over an hour (Free Consultation) explaining the circ as well as answered my questions regarding vaccination schedules and all the concerns and controversy, we also discussed parenting beliefs. "The circ was perfect"!!!***************I hold the highest regard for Dr. Bloom!

Although Dr. Bloom is my daughter's primary care physician, we have never met with him. Instead, due to his schedule and difficulty of getting an appointment with him, we see a PA in the office. The PA is very nice, but I do think her range of knowledge is limited, and wish we were able to see an MD. I'm commenting mainly to back up what other commenters have already mentioned: the office staff at both locations are often extremely difficult to deal with. There are exceptions, we do sometimes interact with nice people there, but as one of the other commenters mentioned, there are many who think that they are doctors and who violate HIPA standards by asking/demanding for information. Additionally, I don't think they're billing system is all that great as we've had to ask them to resubmit claims to our insurance company SEVERAL times. I feel our choices on cape cod are limited, otherwise, due to the rudeness/overstepping of boundaries of the office staff, I'd have switched long ago.

Dr. Bloom is a dream come true! He always takes plenty of time with my child and never rushes us through checkups. He listens carefully to any concerns that I have, and always responds in a professional manner. Years ago, when my son got a minor injury (bump on the head while learning to walk) over a holiday weekend, Dr. Bloom opened the practice just to see him and put my mind at ease. I interviewed several doctors when I was expecting my firstborn, but Dr. B was by far the best. It's just such a shame that his receptionists are so unprofessional. They're rude, I've heard them on more than one occasion gossip about families, and one openly discussed my son's medical history in the waiting room - a BIG no - no and very much illegal! Like someone else said, they think they're doctors when they have no medical experience whatsoever.

Dr. Bloom is terrific with kids! I love their practice and Dr. Norenberg is also one of our favorites! I will say the receptionists who handle the Yarmouth office are so unpleasant to deal with - I am surprised that this is allowed. The Sandwich staff are all fantastic and even though it is a larger distance for us to go, I go there because I cannot stand the receptionists at the Yarmouth office - they need an attitude adjustment!

I love this man. He is the nicest and most competent doctor that I have ever met. My son absoluely adores him and he seems to know everything. He will spend as much time as you need him and will answer all of your questions. We love him!!!

While Dr. Bloom IS a very knowledgeable doctor and great diagnostician, there are so many walls between him and his patients that going to his practice is often quite unpleasant. #1-virtually impossible to talk with him by phone. Phone calls are usually handled by a nurse. #2-$25 fee to get copy of records!!#3-often a PA is the only person available. She is very nice and competent, but there are times when a parent wants a doc, but has no choice. #4-they do try to fit you in to the schedule BUT their hrs at their satellite office don't allow for school children to ever come for appt. after school. Main office is 1/2 hr. from satellite. MY MAIN COMPLAINT IS THAT THE OFFICE SCHEDULING AND STAFF ATTITUDE (my way or not at all-though this attitude may be from the docs) MAKE IT A LESS THAN OPTIMAL PRACITICE.

Doctor Bloom is very caring, spends as much time as we need to discuss any issues, and my kids love him. He's really one of the best around. The receptionists at the Sandwich office, on the other hand, have caused problems. They can be extremely rude, and many of them THINK they are doctors. I often dread having to deal with them, but continue to come to this office because of the wonderful care my children receive from Dr. Bloom.

Dr. Bloom is the best pediatrician I have ever met! He is extremely thourough and truly cares about his patients. He really goes out of his way to help children and their parents with any concerns that they may have.
