He's great at everything except root canals. I had several which all broke before my next appointment to get the permanent fillings, which in turn made me have to shell out more money for him to pull them. He does all his root canals in 3-4 visits. He is excellent in regular fillings, sealants, extractions. Excellent bedside manner, and his staff are great. Front desk ladies are superb. Even though the root canals were unsuccessful, i still see Dr. Kam for fillings and check ups. He's a good guy and I would recommend him to a friend.

My gosh! I have recently started seeing Dr. Kam since my previous dentist was so out of touch with his practice. Best move I have made! Dr. Kam is an amazing Doctor. He has state of the art equipment and is so in tune with his patients. He amazed me at what he was able to do for me. I was always embarrassed about smiling because my teeth were gross. He found serious issues with some of my teeth that have gone u detected for quite a long time. Now, after a chat about whiter teeth, well one visit for an impression and instructions, the next day in to pick them up and get instructions on how to use the whitening kit and within four days my teeth were whiter than they have ever been. Dr. Kam was even very impressed at how whit my teeth came. Now I don't have to hide my mouth when I smile. As well, he is repairing other problems with leaky old fillings and cracked molars that should have been picked up on replaced and repaired quite some time ago.
Can't forget about the staff...they are an amazing group of people that are so friendly and willing to help. They treat you like family! I am so, so impressed!! And thankful!
I would give Dr. Kam a much higher than 5 stars!

I am basically afraid of going to the dentist, and I am a senior. My whole experience with everyone at Grandview Dental was amazing. They treated me with kindness and I had the most thorough exam that I have ever had at a dentist office. I was able to get my filling 2 days after my initial visit and I now have no fear of returning. More important my mouth was not sore after having either the filling or the cleaning.

Dr, Kam is a wonderful dentist! He is very professional and approachable, as are all the staff. Having had a lifelong fear of dental procedures ,I was very pleased to feel so comfortable from my very first visit. Now I have no anxiety at all if I need work done. I have recommended him to friends and they have all been amazed at what a difference the dental experience can be when there is a qualified, gentle dentist who takes the time to explain and allay any fears.

Excellent pain free experience. He has been our family dentist since he arrived in Thunder Bay. Have referred several (previously terrified friends) to him and they were amazed by their painless dentistry. , Staff are professional and they keep current with staff meetings and staff education. Dr. Trevor Kam is the best dentist I have ever been to . He examines throughly and repairs perfect the first time ! I have never felt any needle from him and he makes sure you are comfortable. All his staff are excellent too !

Not the best when it comes to root canals. I have to go to an endodontist to fix it now, and after paying a lot of money it is quite disappointing. However he has a great bedside manner an all around nice guy, and his staff is very friendly.
