DR Benny Bar-Shlomo has been my cardiologist for over 16 years. He is excellent. Knowledgeable , kind, thorough easy to talk to and answers all your queries. I trusted my MD who recommended Dr Bar-Shlomo and I trust Dr. Bar-Shlomo. He has seen me for years including open heart surgery at VGH and the surgeons there were excellent.

This man needs to retire. He is a grumpy old man that tells his patient “results are not that good, but not too bad, I’ll see you again in 6 months”. He doesn’t allow even 1 family member to accompany the senior patient and sends him off saying that?
He may be a good doctor in his younger days, but it’s time to retire! I’ve heard him yell at his staff, who I can see is handling a very busy office.

My father in law was a patient of this doctor for a few years but decided to transfer to another cardio after over hearing him berate a new secretary in the clinic. Another secretary defended the new one but I guess from the tone of his voice you can sense he did not like the new hire. The secretary was doing a good job in my opinion but eventually maybe they let her go. Maybe because she was not from the same country as the rest of the staff who worked there.

Horrible office!!!! Absolutely none caring staff!!!! Phones are not being answered or busy, making it impossible to call in. Appalling!!!! If you have a heart problems....... find another doctor where someone cares ..... I gave one star only because there none less than that.

I was told I had an occluded artery and was then cheered out the door "see you in July" This was Dec 21 and on the 25th I had my 3rd heart attack which they did not expect me to survive. Why did he not take action? Negligence Also, he does not stay current, promotes deadly statin drugs. Retire, Benny

I don't recommend this doctor. His misdiagnosis of my condition caused me a great deal of grief. I understand that anyone can make a mistake but to this day won't admit his error. Look elsewhere.

I first Met DR.Bar Shlomo when I was 42 with chest pains . So far he has done 2 Angiograms I am now 71 thanks to Benny I am still alive Thanks again my friend ..

I completely agree with the last comment,i think the person that wrote the comment before his perhaps drank a whole bottle of cognac before posting that "satire".
I would like to comment that Dr Barshlomo saved my husbands life twice.
He diagnosed him with heart disease and had him into St Pauls for by pass surgery within 2 weeks,he had sucessfull quintuple by pass surgery and that was in 2004 and he has seen Dr Barshlomo every year for an annual check up for the past 11 years.
Then 3 years ago when he was there for his annual check up Dr Barshlomo felt a lump on his neck and told him he thought that could be cancer even though his family dr told him he didnt think it was anything to worry about,Dr Barshlomo told him to wait in the waiting room and he arranged an oncologist in his medical building to examine him right then and there and as it turned out it was indeed cancer,by the time we got on the lions gate bridge to return home to the sunshine coast that surgeon had arranged an appointment for him with a neck specialist and also got him into the cancer clinic to start treatment within weeks.
Well how much more efficient and on your game can you be than that,needless to say we feel so lucky that Dr Barshlomo is such an efficient and caring Dr. and we thank god every day for him,he is our hero for sure,if it wern't for him he probably wouldnt have made it in either situation.
