I've waited weeks for results that were "sent in the mail" and still have yet to receive. I have been faced with having to work directly with insurance company because although I give them all of my update insurance information they cannot manage to file it under the correct numbers. They seem to have more excuses than ANY service provider in ANY industry I've ever encountered. Save yourself the trouble --- find a different doctor to go to.

The doctor is always rushing around everywhere. She doesn't even have a nurse. Dr. Sommerset tries to do all of it on her own. She will only spend a few minutes with you .The lady at the front desk can be very rude and abrupt. She is only there 25 hours a week. I had to go to many times to walk in clinics for care because she wasn't open. I would not refer her to anyone looking for a good and caring doctor.

I had been a patient of Dr Sommerset for over 15 years. I became very disappointed with her last year when I was diagnosed with diabetes. Initially, she tried a medication and it did not work for me.Then she said I could control by diet alone. Long story short... I did contol by diet for some time but as time went on I got much worse.I went to see her and she never referred me to specialist. Finally, after I changed physicians and go to see specialist ,I was very sick. She is always in a hurry and does not have time for any questions. There are times that the receptionist can be quite rude. I have requested my records 4 timed now and they still have not sent to my new doctor.

Dr. Sommerset is kind, caring and works to build relationships with her patients. When you have been going to her for awhile, she will work with you to make emergency appointments. She is especially good with teenagers and spends quality time counseling them about life issues. She has excellent bedside manner and makes people comfortable when they are fearful of shots and medical procedures.

Never available when sick. I have always had to go to a clinic or emergency. Never get called back with only one person handling everything in office. My husband has medical condition that needs immediate action but we always go to ER for prompt care.

I've been trying to pay a bill for over a month now, calling every week and make an appointment to see the Dr. but the receptionist refuses to take payment and says that I can't get in to see the Dr until she reviews my chart. I've been out of medication for well over a month and it seems to me that they don't care about their patients well being. I wouldn't recomend this Dr to anyone!

May be under investigation, very paranoid, and has become upset if questioned. Does not listen, talks most of the time and quick to diagnose to get you out for next patient. Not helpful, only one person on staff to answer phones, make appts, act as a nurse. Never call you back for results and may tell you they did.
