She is a nice person but very scatterbrained and can't remember anything. Also she disappeared and left her patients high and dry with no doctor, without explanation. Beware of this doctor.

This doctor was very nice at the beginning and continued to be until she completely disappeared and ghosted all of her patients. In November 2022, she sent out a note that she was leaving her practice location at High Park Healthcare Centre and that she'd be setting up another practice soon. She said she'd be in touch with all of us with details. It's now been ONE YEAR and she's disappeared off the face of the earth, leaving her patients with medical needs high and dry! This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable to do this. It's hard enough getting a doctor in Toronto and this just made it worse. The Ontario Medical Association needs to look into this because to do this to vulnerable clients is terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND if she sets up a place to practice again.

I love Dr Quadir. She is a trauma-informed advocate for full body and mental health and will suggest other types of therapy rather than just giving you medicines and sending you on your way. She has been my doctor for almost ten years now and I am so thankful that she offers both physical health care and DBT/CBT-type healthcare through TeleCBT.

Many of the issues that others have are to do with the staff at High Park Healthcare and not with Dr Quadir herself. Imagine having incompetent staff to work with and not having proper scheduling as a doctor - that must be frustrating.

Dr Quadir has been the most involved doctor I've ever had. She is both serious and friendly. She's not afraid to tell you like it is and also give you resources to help you help yourself.

I have been a patient of hers for about 5 years now, and she is just going down the drain. She is ill-prepared and cannot remember if she sent you for tests or not. She misses phone calls, and she just seems to be losing her touch. Almost like she doesn't care. Most of the time I just end up going to a walk-in clinic because I cannot get an appointment until at least 4 -6 weeks.

She is a nice person but I have had the most frustrating year with this doctor. It is next to impossible to get her on the phone. I went in for blood work and asked her if the receptionist can give me my results, because I knew she was impossible to get a hold of. She said yes. When the results came in I missed dr Quadirs call because I was in another country. I tried calling back for about 30 minutes, no pick up. I got through to the reception days later and they would not tell me my results. the next time I can speak with her is in over a month. Im stressfully awaiting my results and still have not heard from her, it has been months. The front desk staff are rude most of the time, the odd occasion they are pleasant. I feel absolutely left in the dark and uncared for by this doctor and clinic. I am currently seeking other healthcare. I would save yourself a lot of frustration and go elsewhere.

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have been a patient of Dr. Quadir. She is knowledgable, thoughtful, and works collaboratively with you to determine the best next steps. She was quick to refer me to a specialist when I had what I thought was a minor medical problem. She insisted that we seek out answers, and it turned out to be a serious issue (since resolved through surgery). She listened to my symptoms, took seriously my pain, and got me to the right people right away. I couldn't ask for more in a GP. Finally, she takes seriously issues of mental health, stress, and more comprehensive approaches to wellness. She advocates for your overall wellbeing rather than focusing on individual issues. I unreservedly recommend Dr. Quadir and can't be more enthusiastic about her care.

I am a fairly new patient, having seen Dr. Quadir 4 times now. I am very pleased to have been referred to her. I have found her care to be excellent. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate.

Dr Quadir is an irresponsible and incompetent physician. Do not make the same mistake I made. She peddles unscientific nonsense and talks about the “universe” having a plan. This is not what I want or expect from a medical doctor. She refuses to prescribe helpful medication, and will not provide a rationale other than to say it “doesn’t feel right” to her. Please find another Dr.

Dr. Quadir gave fairly good care early in her practice. Unfortunately, not at all anymore.

I had a horrible experience at The High Park Health Centre where Dr Quadir is currently practicing.

The receptionist staff have now failed to book my appointments correctly not once, not twice, but THREE times. Each time I take time off work and show up for my appointment, only to have them tell me I'm there on the wrong day. When I informed them that this has happened multiple times, the receptionist insinuated that it was *my* fault. Unbelievable.

During one appointment, I wait in the surgery for over an hour because they hadn't checked me in correctly. They only realised their mistake when I went up and asked what was going on. They are incompetent beyond belief.

As for Dr Quadir- a simple Google search shows up page after page of worryingly bad reviews (no need to take my word for it). What upsets me the most is that I really sincerely tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, ignoring the bad reviews, but its clear to me that she simply cannot run a practice. She's on vacation for months at a time and only works at the practice 3 days a week, which makes it really difficult to get an appointment (rude receptionists aside). When I do see her, she's distracted and doesn't listen, which seems to be a common theme from the reviews.

Whilst she was on vacation, I saw an older doctor who came out of retirement to cover for Dr Quadir. He was nice, but was unaware of common modern medical practices and probably needs to renew his license. He was also unable or unwilling to refer me to a specialist- insisting that I wait to see Dr Quadir. This meant I suffered from chronic pain for weeks and ultimately had to visit the ER because I was passing out from pain. My condition was treatable and my ER doctor expressed utter disbelief that I didn't get a referral or treatment from my family doctor.

Don't do what I did. Don't ignore the bad reviews. Find yourself a family practice where the staff are dedicated and capable of helping you. We're all human and make mistakes, but a repeated catalogue of errors is unacceptable. Your health is too important to risk at this place- please go elsewhere.
