I heard about Dr. Troshinsky from a friend, and have thanked her many times for the referral. He is an older man who works from a home office. While his age might be an issue in another specialty, it is an advantage in psychiatry, where it lends perspective. Dr. T is very professional. He's also sharp, up to date, kind and extremely practical. Since I'm a medical writer, I happen to know that many local doctors hold him in high regard for his diagnostic acumen and the fact that he's not easily bamboozled. If he doesn't think a drug will help you, he won't prescribe it. If he does prescribe for you, he will work with you to get the dosage right, no matter how many phone calls and visits it takes. I trust him and I trust his advice.

I finally found a doctor that knows what he is doing. It is wonderful to be able to count on a pyschiatrist when you are feeling low.
