I have been a patient of Dr. Malik's for close to 20 years. I have found him to be very attentive and knowledgeable. He has addressed my issues over the years and has been very proactive. He has always been professional and courteous with me. I told him he can never retire !!

I've read the comments and strongly disagree. I have been a patient of Dr. Malik's off and on for over 15 years. He has been more than helpful. He has performed 3 surgeries on me and his concern for my well being along with his follow up is outstanding. I highly recommend him. Thanks Dr. Malik!

Dr. Malik may not appear friendly, but he saved my mom's life - she has been cancer free for over 15 years. I believe he is an excellent surgeon.

if your GP refers this doctor for a colonoscopy, RUN away fast. The worst, rudest, most arrogant doctor my mom and I have ever met. Never gave us any information or answered any of our questions. Was more interested in getting to the next patient than to us. Please take these words seriously and avoid him at any cost.

All I can say about this man is that I would NEVER let him near me & I hope that all others follow up on their problems with him as I am doing. His behaviour is just off the charts & NOBODY should be treated as he treats people.

I was referred to Dr. Malik by my GP. He was cold and insensitive to how I was feeling (physically and emotionally). Although he lacks common courtesy, he knew what he was doing and I recovered as expected. I'd love to have a surgeon who is both compassionate and skilled. But I will more then be up for someone who is just skilled if I had to choose one over the other in dealing with my health.

this doctors name is A malik and not R malik - had i known that before i would never have used his services. He is the worst man i could imagine in this field. My first meeting with him was devestating, he was rude, arrogant, but despite all that he lacked any courtesy in what he was checking, i told him how painful my fissure was but he proceeded to try to do an anal check without any lubracation and then had me sign papers which he said where to check the area under ansesthia not that he was going to do surgery...i only found that out after he rudely told me to go directly to his office to make an appt. day of surgery... he didn't tell me any thing of what he was going to do after he found a problem or even what types of problems could be found... he came to see me for litteraly maybe 30 secs no consultation at all on what my risks maybe, i asked him if he could come tell me after the surgery what he performed he flat out rudely said no hes too busy and to make an appt with his office if i wanted to know....

OUTRAGEOUS !!! An extremely rude and arrogant doctor. I feel insulted and i think i will complain to the college. He was late, bashed in the room with no greetings, spent with me a couple of minutes and just like that he was out of the exam room !!! And just to confirm...his name is "Malik, A" and not "Malik, R"
