horrible staff, does not get to the bottom of issues. SCAM DON'T WASTE MONEY many other Lyme liderate doctors out there, as he is practicing family medicine, not Lyme Disease and coinfections.

As far as I can tell, this guy is a scam artist. Constantly contradicted himself to ensure I would remain a customer. Prescribed inordinate amounts of antibiotics which gave me a yeast infection. No change in symptoms over 8 months of treatment yet he insisted it had to be lyme, no matter what. He even refuted my MRI results which heavily indicate a diagnosis of MS. The only thing going for him is the insanely expensive IV infusions of vitamin C, phosphotidylcholine, and glutathione, which did seem to strengthen my immune system and repair some of the damage from MS. However, he is the only one in the office setting up these IV’s and typically he gets backed up by several hours; you end spending half a day for what was scheduled as a 1 hour infusion appointment. If he took insurance, it would be another story entirely, but that’s typically how hokey practitioners skirt the review boards and stay under the radar. Caveat emptor!!!!

Dr Sabovic is a gem. He’s extremely knowledgeable and takes his time explaining treatment and any questions. He truly saved my life. When I began seeing him I was barely walking and my cognitive ability was impaired due to 30 years of untreated Lyme. He really knows Lyme and co infections as well as general health. He charges a fraction of what other doctors charge in tri state area. He’s worth every penny. He gave me his personal cell and answers even late at night. He took a call from my ER doctor at 3:30 AM. I don’t know another doctor willing to do that. He truly saved my life. He actually listens. The office is very busy for obvious reasons but he takes time to treat each patient. He charges less than retail price for supplements. I absolutely love him. Ermina at the front desk has helped me when I needed an insurance provider. She is very busy as he has many patients. He truly cares for his patients.

Dr. Sabovic treated me for a "recurrence" of Lyme disease with an extremely heavy (and expensive) dosage of several antibiotics. A top neurological specialist explained to me that it was unnecessary and that Sabovic had misread the tests, I stopped Dr. Sabovic's regime and recovered nicely. When I tried to explain what the neurologist had said to Dr. Sabovic, he became irritated and did not want to discuss.

As many who have left reviews here, I owe my life to Dr. Sabovic and will be forever grateful to him for his patience and dedication to my complicated case of Lyme, co-infections and secondary infections. Dr. Sabovic is extremely knowledgeable, has TONS of experience with Lyme disease and co-infections (and all things medical, really), has a general "systemic" approach to treatment and leaves no stone unturned. Not only did he "cure" me (I've been in remission for 5 years now) after a lifetime of suffering and two years of h*** going from doctor to doctor with a list of 50+ symptoms and no answer, but he's responsible for diagnosing (through testing) other conditions that other doctors had dismissed off hand without testing. He never spent less than an hour with me, listening, taking note, testing, discussing treatment options, etc. When my son (born with LD) started exhibiting symptoms (which his pediatrician dismissed), he's the one who treated him and got his Lyme count to zero in under a year. Over the years, he and his staff have been nothing but friendly and patient. So if you're part of the lucky ones that get better after two weeks of antibiotics, good for you. But if, like me, you were infected as a child, or see your health going down while doctor after doctor tell you it's all in your head, don't hesitate to make an appointment. It will change your life.

After a year of misdiagnosis and treatments from several dermatologist in Norwalk and Westport I took my daughter to an internist, infectious disease, rheumatologist, immunologist and gen GP Drs all coming up with either I don't know or I think it might be or try this and let me know what it ends up to be comments. After our first visit to Dr Sabovic we sat in the car looked at each other , let out a deep breathe and smiled ... finally someone who asked her the questions and went in the right direction after hearing her history. It's a shame so many suffer from vector borne diseases and parasitic infections due to the poor training or close minds of many ( almost all I've met ) US trained physicians. I have been able to help others I've met with unexplained symptoms with referrals to Dr Sabovic knowing he will uncover the mystery and finally help save their lives. He truly does know more than most Drs in many fields and knows how to treat them with the right medications, diet, oils and naturapathic txs... it's so much more than physical pain and illness that needs to be treated and it is a process to heal from an illness that has grown for so long without being treated correctly . He is a 5 star Dr and I have many years of ICU nursing in the best hospitals in our country ...

Dr. Zijad Sabovic begin saving my life three years ago. Within a year of graduating college, I began getting very sick. After seeing various doctors in two different states, I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease and was seen by several doctors who told me "you need serious treatment and I'm uncomfortable with treating this disease", "this [Lyme Disease] is not my area", "you should go back to Connecticut", "I highly doubt you have Lyme Disease". My health deteriorated quickly following my diagnosis and I had to quit my full time job because I was bedridden. I was finally referred to Dr. Sabovic. Dr. Sabovic is attentive, caring and very knowledgeable about this terrible illness. I facilitate a Lyme Disease support group in Meriden and I often share my story and how I have been able to reclaim more and more of my health since I started seeing Dr. Sabovic. His experience in treating LD has saved my life and I am so grateful to have a doctor that actually cares about the well being of his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sabovic's for 15 years. Dr. Sabovic is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine. The Degree of Fellow recognizes AAFP members who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to family medicine, by their advancement of health care to the American people and by their professional development through medical education and research. Fellows of the AAFP are recognized as Champions of Family Medicine. Dr. Sabovic gives patients his cell phone number and his patients can call him 24/7. None of my other doctors do this. Dr. Sabovic diagnosed me with Lyme Disease and gave me appropriate antibiotics so that I did not continue to suffer from yearly bouts of pneumonia. He diagnosed me with MGUS, a precursor to multiple myeloma, which none of my other doctors had noticed. He helped choose and coordinate my care with other doctors for 2 surgeries that I needed. He treats patients using a combination
of allopathic (traditional) and alternative medicine. Dr. Sabovic also helped me coordinate
care for my father when he needed heart surgery. My father was not his patient, but I asked
Dr. Sabovic for his help because I was overwhelmed in trying to make decisions and he came to my aid. Dr. Sabovic is a kind and caring physician and delivers what is basically concierge medicine.
