I was a patient of Dr McGarry-Spaffords as was my son in Yarker ON and Im looking to get ahold of her I Need My sons file, or just record of his Immunization chart as he is to start school in Sept. She was a great doctor and we were so sad to loose her! Best wish's were she is now. Some help would be greatly appriciated!!

Dr. McGarry took on my Dad as a patient a few years ago. I give her credit because my Dad can be a difficult person. She loved my Dad and this was obvious when she was treating his terminal cancer. I can't ever say in words how wonderful she was with my Dad. Our entire family appreciated her so much. She truly is a remarkable person and doctor. I wish her the best in her new practice. I know her patients from Espanola will miss her very much.

Since Dr. McGarry has come to Espanola she has been a breath of fresh air. Her caring manner is something that has been lacking from the majority of Dr's in the Family Health Clinic for some time now. She always takes the time to answer your questions and make you feel like her number one patient even though she has a huge patient load. My concern with service is not in relation to the Health Team staff (they are wonderful and accommodating) it's in relation to her husband Bart. He constantly makes patients feel uncomfortable and asks them inappropriate questions. But the most annoying and rude thing is that he knocks on the door when you are with the Dr. to tell you that your time is up. He needs to take a course in customer service. How can she be so nice and considerate and he be so rude and inappropriate.

I seen Dr McGarry in the emergency room and I now credit her for saving my life. What I thought was the flu was actually a life threatening condition that required emergency surgery. I am not convinced that just any doctor would have been as thorough in checking me over and may have missed what she found. Dr McGarry is an excellent doctor and I am very happy she was there when I needed her. Thank you Dr McGarry.

Dr.McGarry-Spafford goes beyond being just a family doctor. She deeply cares for her patients and it shows. This doctor allows you extra time if needed and regards her patients almost as if they were family. She goes out of her way to be helpful and to see to your health.

Dr. Ursula is the absolute best doctor we have ever had. I have never been to a doctor like Ursula! She is the most helpful, knowledgeable, understanding down to earth and kind person we have ever met. When she left Yarker, we (as well as many, many others)were very sad to see her and her family leave, but understand that she will be helping others. Dr. McGarry has just opened up her practice in Espanola and she is a welcome addition to our community. Very knowledgeable and very thorough in her proceedings and made us feel very welcome as her patients. An excellent addition to our community. I am sure she will be well received.

Ursula is not only an excellent doctor, but she and her husband have become good friends to our family. Her concern for her patients goes beyond the usual doctor/patient realm. She and her family are an integral part of the community. A great doctor and a great neighbour.
