It’s astonishing that doctor Broy would receive anything other than 5 stars. He has been my family’s doc for 15 years. He’s amazing. He’s smart and never talks over you. I’ve lived in this area for 40 years. I have been to OU doctors and have felt that they are mediocre at best. Those same docs diagnosed my dad with a bladder infection when he had leukemia. 10 years later, they diagnosed me with vasovagal syncope when, in fact, I have MS. In both situations, those doctors were unwilling to move in their diagnosis. I KNOW that had doctor broy been presented with the same situation, he would’ve ruled out everything just like he does now with my family. I feel lucky that my family has him as our primary care doc. He is so popular, that he hasn’t been taking new patients for years. OU is filled with DO’s who want you to ‘stretch’ or ‘meditate’ before anything else. If that’s who you want taking care of you, be my guest. As for me, I’m happy to be a patient of Holzer and even more happy to have doctor broy.

In contrast to the previous reviews I have to say he is one of the worst doctors I have ever had, never can get in to see him but when I do I might have well just stayed at home because he never seems to have a good grasp of the medical field and gets defensive if I try to ask questions. Like most doctors at Holzer, seems to be in medicine for the money rather than to help people. If you live in Athens, use the Ohio University doctors (who keep up on the latest research) rather than Holzer.

Dr. Broy is wonderful doctor. He listens attentively to questions and does a great job managing long term health problems. He's also a great person. I hope he never leaves Athens!

Dr. Broy is the best Dr. I have ever seen. He explains things so they are easy to understand, but more importantly, he listens and lets the patient be part of and assist in the decisions and trials of their own healthcare. Also is polite and honest.

Dr. Broy has to be my favorite doc of all time. He's young, thorough and never tries to talk over your head. He listens then gives his opinion. He's never been pushy and has always been incredibly accessable.
