Brian Peer has been our family doctor since he arrived in StA replacing Mike Butters. Brian has always been a fine doctor for us ... thorough in his examinations, not offended if I wish to discuss his suggestions for medical situations and alternatives. Able to find previous blood work to compare with today. Would very much to see the medical services computerized ie. book & communicate by email, see trends in blood analysis on graphs to see trends, etc. The staffing issues were with only one person whose inter-personal skills were weak... all others were (are) excellent - to date, I could not ask for more.

Love Dr Peer, he’s been my doctor since I was a teen, and is now my children’s doctor. The first time I took my oldest in to his office, he told me if I ever thought there was something wrong, to just show up and he’d fit us in. He is always patient with my questions, and takes time to ask me how I’m doing even when the appointment is for the baby. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly, as well.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G not shocked though by some of the people giving a bad rating on here. I can only imagine some of the types of people that go in there expecting to either get something they don’t need or looking for a miracle answer. He is full of knowledge and is an extremely hard worker who has provided for an entire community for years. Ignore the bad reviews, he is great.

Dr. Peer is an excellent Doctor and our community is fortunate to have such an excellent physician. The negative comments on here are surprising to say the least and I think some of the complaints clearly demonstrate how difficult it must be to work as a health care professional these days.

The doctor has no empathy and likes to make fun of his patients and blame them for their problems. He dismisses a serious problem without doing a proper exam.

This office has the most rude and unhelpful staff. Dr. Peer needs to know that his staff reflect poorly on his professionalism in a small rural community.

I was a patient of Dr. Peer for years. I had no issue with him. At the time I thought he was a great doctor. Although, his staff at the clinic in St. Andrews are terrible! I called a year ago trying to make an appointment and they told me that I didn't come in for visits enough to be kept on as a patient. NICE. They told me they would put me on a waiting list. I called again a year later only to find out that he took on another doctors patients. I asked where I was on the waiting list and was told that it didn't move. If I could give the secretary there negative stars she would deserve them - very condescending and not helpful in the least.

A good family physician. Suprised by the negative comments some have made. I have found Dr Peer to be friendly and caring. I'm very happy to have him as a family doctor.

I just came back from saint Joseph's hospitals E R and I was forgotten about by him in the examining room a nurse had to come by and ask who I was everybody enlarges gone tons of people got out long befre I did 5 hours later I'm walking home with what I knew I needed and a messed up doctors note to boot he tells me to take 5 days off but put it on the return to family doctor slot instead.
