So I called and left a message with the girl at the front desk. He called again to tell me his side and told me not to interup him and I can talk when it's my turn. He was so rude and look at the reviews I'm not the only one, he needs to be stopped my mom didn't need this, she is fight cancer we don't need an a**hole.

Was refered by my gp after complaints of a tender mass in my parotid gland. The notes my gp made were inaccurate so he came in asking me questions about it. He examined me and informed me about the possibilities...lymphoma, scar tissue, salivary gland cancer.. And the treatment options. He told me he'd like to see a CT scan and depending on those results, he'd like to see me every three months. He was very friendly. He answered questions about my mother's nose issues while we there too. Not sure why anyone is saying he is cold. He was very friendly to me. Any one who is upset about being charged or berated about canceling or missing appointments, consider that when I scheduled my appointment, the soonest i could be seen was in 2 months....

Dr. Mazer was friendly, knowledgleable, and caring.

I was referred to Dr. Mazer by my general practitioner for throat cancer, as I had a lump on my throat. I went to Dr. Mazer, and he did confirm the diagnosis (after testing) with extreme coldness and lack of sympathy and care. During my appointment, his responses to my questions were extremely cold, uncaring, and surprisingly rude. He made my situation appear hopeless. One would think that in such a situation, the doctor would try to show some level of care and provide some hope (in a realistic but caring manner), but that was absolutely not the case with this doctor. His staff was also not very friendly or helpful when I requested my records for another doctor. Finally, the wait in his waiting room for my appointment was almost one hour. I hope others have better luck with him.

Dr. Mazer has been known to diagnosis patients incorrectly while providing terrible bedside manners. After reading all the other reviews online, I guess I’m not alone in thinking this. He does not believe nor does he practice an important oath doctor’s take upon graduating medical school … that is, treat human beings worthy of respect and compassion. I personally have experienced the arrogance of this doctor. During my last medical visit, he was more of interrogating than helping me as a patient. He accused me of shopping around for a different doctor which simply caught me off guard. I wondered what could he talking about, since he’s my primary doctor! He raised his voice and used a very negative attitude while treating me. I left feeling defeated and horrible. He insulted me and felt demeaned by a "doctor" who should have been more caring and more focused on finding a resolution to my condition. I do not recommend Dr. Mazer to anyone seeking medical help.

Dr. could not properly fill out required Social Security forms. After a couple of attempts, he wrote a letter to SSI, but still did not complete the form properly. SSI told us exactly how to fill out the form and visit the doctor for signature. He stormed out of his office to berate me and my grandson in front of the other patients and his staff. He refused to even hear what we had been instructed by SSI. Instead, his response was, I am done with this. You are no longer my patient; I’ve spent too much time on this already. Then he asked us to leave his office. It was very humiliating and although I am still disabled, unable to work, without the referring doctor’s signature I can’t receive SSI.

This doctor is a really good doctor as far as medically speaking. But if you miss an appointment or call in after the 24 hour notice, he will personally not his staff, call you on the phone to berate you to find out why and demand proof. I am going to take a bag of my vommit in to prove that I was sick and wasn't able to make it due to my disability. But if he wants to bill me the $25.00 it will go in the pile of other medical bills never to be paid, since I am disabled and have no income. Very rude, never had a Dr. call me to make me feel like**** about missing an appointment. I can't wait to get the bill for $25 dollars and put it in the file(trash) along with the others. Haven't been able to work for three years and he wants $25 dollars from me? lol lol good luck

Worth the wait and does not rush his patients. He is very caring and his diagnosis has always been accurate and treatment effective. Office staff answers phone and not a voice recording. He still has a real live person answering service when he is off and calls his patients back personally right away when he gets the message.

Dr. Mazer is a very caring person that takes his time, doesn't rush his diagnosis or treatment. Some people expect to be seen as soon as they walk through the door, not realistic. Personally I'd be cautious if I walked into a doctors office and no one was waiting and I was seen immediately. Whats wrong with that picture? The staff is wonderful.

Professional & caring. I will admit the wait is sometimes a bit long, but he takes his time with each patient. Very caring, does not rush the patient, staff will bend over backwards, & professional.
