He got upset that I was asking too many questions regarding the side effects and research supporting the efficacy of the meds he wanted me to take. I’ve never gone back and now just live with Ms without treatment

I have been seeing Dr Selchen for years. He’s often late but you should expect that when seeing a specialist . His office is a mess, but he knows everything about me and takes good care of me. I’m so grateful to have him as my doctor

Dr Selchen is not punctual and the staff at the clinic are rude. That doesn't mean he isn't a good doctor. I love the man. In fact, I am sad to be seeing a younger doctor who I like a lot less. Keep the old guy around.

I agree with the patient who is planning a malpractice suit. I might be doing the same. For 10 years he said I RRMS but didn’t experience even one remission. All the while I begged him to refer me to a haematologist because I felt that the issue was in my blood. All I ever heard from him was no it’s not. He did an MRI just to appease me even though I begged him for a lumbar puncture. All he did was change my diagnosis to PPMS. Now 5 years later I went running around to a wheelchair in such a short amount of time. I finally had to go to emergency where luck would have it I found a doctor who cares about the patients not the paycheck. Sadly she referred me to an Oncologist who specializes is blood cancers. What should expect. I’ve had a blood disease for 16 years that’s has gone unaddressed. Now who knows how bad it is or how much longer I even have to live. He ruined my life and basically killed me because of his arrogance! Anyone who wish’s to discuss my comment, my name is Mamtaa and I can be reached at 437-248-8652.

Not helpful at all. Very disappointing at how the patient is treated. Especially being in the medical field I have not seen this lack of care anywhere else. The hospital should take these reviews seriously and take action in hiring the proper doctors to do right by their patient.

I’m genuinely perplexed at the negative reviews on here. Dr Selchen was thorough, knowledgeable, kind and caring as was the Dr assisting him. The NPs and office staff are kind and helpful. He got more done for me in the last week than I got done in 13 months in Sudbury. Truly a great doctor

My visit to the MS clinic was great! The team there was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable. Dr. Selchen addressed my concerns and went through my MRI scans with me. I was referred for a second opinion for my MS and left with a prescription and a prompt set-up for DMT. All my needed paperwork was emailed AND mailed to me within 24-48 hours. This clinic blew my expectations out of the water and its a shame these negative reviews are so many because it doesn't relate to the experience I had what so ever. He's a specialist working in a clinic with a team - there are policies and procedures, and he clearly has decades of experience in his field. He's got a positive demeanor, treated me very fairly, and communicated appropriately.

I didn’t get a referral from him either that I wanted. A referral that definitely could’ve helped me eight years ago. But I kind of understand his reasons for not doing it at the time. He’s a good person and he cares. He rushes a little at times. But for the most part he wants to help people.

I was referred to Dr. Selchen by another neurologist to help diagnose my rare neurological disease. I found him and the team at St. Mike's to be extremely caring and professional. He recognized the nature of my illness was immune mediated and referred me on to a specialized Rheumatology clinic for appropriate treatment.

Any wait times I encountered were due to time spent with other patients or stroke codes. That's neurology. It's wild at times.
