I found Dr. Tariot to be inflexible and not accommodating. It took approximately two years to get me somewhat stable with the right medication. While I know that finding thr right mix of medication can be difficult I found that Dr. Tariot overcommitted her ability to provide therapy along with medication to me. She spoke differently to me when I was alone than when my husband came to sessions. While I think that she is knowledgeable I don’t think she has a good bedside manner. I sometimes questioned if she really cared at all. One session I had finally had enough of her cold insensitive attitude and walked out.

I was told she “didn’t have time for me” as a patient after 5 years and left to withdraw dangerously from the medication she had prescribed me. A few months before she dropped me as a patient she flipped out on me telling me she didn’t have time to give me council (not what I was there for) and that she could only give me drugs. She is the one who insisted on seeing me every three months which I felt for me was excessive and suddenly I’m taking up too much of her time?

I have been a patient of Dr. Tariot for several years and have found her to be very knowledgable and invested in my optimal mental health. She has been available to me whenever I have needed her. I recommend her highly.

They are only really interested in getting your money, their specialty is in parting anxious upper-middle class house wives from their money when they cannot deal with their with their spoiled neglected children. The therapists here are low rent and unequipped to deal with anything beyond typical teenage angst. Hacks.

i was a pt. for over seven yrs. it was my first time being referred to a pscy. grades above are honest,if the scale went to a ten, that would be the grade.high quality care as a pt. this dr. was extremely knowledgeable of meds, med.s with other med.s, she knew current info, she would document appts.on laptop and use it as a reference also, ran bldwk routinely at one point daily for just over a week because li levels.she was available for appts. if needed before scheduled ones.she would also make herself available for 15 min. phone appts.,she would ask other drs. for input. ex. neurology, she was actively engaged during appts.sensitive to my loss.my prognosis is poor, major depp.recurant,med.resistant&progressive brain disease. won't get better than this.this as good as i gets.she really tried.i was terminated.i did not want that, though its the dr. choice who they or don't.i just wanted the comfort of familiar people&place.a place to go routinely who may notice something :(
