After examining me and my MRI for half hour to 45 minutes, he smiles and says "I can't help you...". I asked if he could refer me to someone else? He giggles and said "No!". So I asked him: "What would you do in my place?" His answer, AND I QUOTE: "I can tell you are in a lot of pain... HAVE YOU CONSIDERED SUICIDE?"

I had leg perthes as a child. After Dr Mitra operated my leg "turned in" about 90 degrees. He admitted that the first surgery wasn't successful and wanted to operate again. My father said no. I went to Sick Kids Hospital where Doctor Salter fixed the problem. Doctor Mitra is a ****. Stay away.

I was in a car accident and broke both my ankles very badly. Dr. Mitra was my surgeon and I have nothing but praise for him. He was very knowledgable and caring. He saved my left foot and for that I truly indebted. I would recommend him to everyone.

Worst Doctor in the World. No compasion. He messed up my leg forever. Five other doctors tried to repair the damage Mitra did and no luck. I wouldn't even send my dog to him.

I had this doctor back in the mid 70's and i came to him with a injured wrist. He did surgery on it and placed a screw which 6 months later had to be removed. During the 2 years of care he tried his own serum injections. When i told him how much it hurt he just told me that i was a baby to not take a little pain. I feel this doctor is not too helpful when it comes to real life problems.

Dr. Mitra has operated on both of my knees many years ago. I am now 81 years old and can walk without pain or any discomfort. I rate this doctor highly

when i was 2 i was experiencing alot of foot and ankle pain so my mom took me to dr. mitra. he refused to order xrays for me to atleast see if anything was wrong and he blew everything off, saying it was growing pains and that i'd eventually be okay. it turns out i have extra bones in my feet and two bones in my left foot grew into each other. i'm now 16 and finally getting surgery next month. if he ordered xrays and actually took a look at my feet, this could have been taken care of 14 years ago.

Saw him for a broken wrist joint. He set it without any pain meds. As I was passing out with pain he just said go down the hall to get a cast. When the cast came off he twisted it to see if it had set. Do not go to this docotor if you value your health.
