Dr Morassut is an excellent physician. I feel very lucky to have her as my rheumatologist. She is thorough and knowledgeable as well as pleasant and friendly. I have seen her for a number of years and have never had an issue with her staff.

I was referred to Dr. Morassut for osteoporosis. She was thorough and she treated me like a person, unlike a male doctor to which I had previously been referred. I saw her a couple of times and the last time she determined that I should no longer be on medication. I was very pleased with her as my doctor.

We were extremely pleased with this doctor. She was attentive to our concerns, very knowledgeable and pleasant. We were optimistic of my husband's prognosis. She spent a lot of time doing a thorough history which seldom happens with most practitioners these days.

I've been a patient of Dr. Morassut for aprox 8 years for an arthritic autoimmune disease which is extremely severe. As my condition worsened into life-threatening areas, Dr. Morassut stepped up and did everything I could hope for to coordinate my care with other specialists, including facilitating immediate treatment to address my critical health needs. Dr. Morassut has helped my quality of life tremendously and has unequivocally proven her dedication as a rheumatologist to her patients. However, I do agree with the previous poster. Her receptionist can be very rude and short-tempered and extremely non-cooperative at times. When I phoned for an unscheduled appt request due to a serious health issue that had me at the ER, I was told very rudely and abruptly by the receptionist to not to call back again as if the dr wished I would be contacted. The previous receptionist who retired had a much more compassionate demeanor.

Dr. Morassut is an unbelievable doctor. she is caring and very knowlegable. she needs to be more selective with her receptionist however. I have never met a more rude and less sympathetic person in my life! I had my perscription run out.....medication that i have been on for over 20 years, and she said "I" should have made an appointment the last time I was in, and that I couldn't get in to see Dr. Morrasut for 8 months. Anyone who suffers from Arthritis knows that this is ridiculous. She offered no solution or suggestions to me, and didn't even have the decency to return my phone calls. I had to turn to my family doctor for help and she resolved it for me within minutes. I find her total lack of compasion completely unacceptable and will be mentioning this to Dr.Morassut when she returns from vacation. This "lady" would not keep a job in any other business that deals with the public!

I was a patient of Dr Morassut's for about 10 years as I had had severe arthritis pain in joints for about 20 years at that point. She did try shots for my knees and shoulders, which were unsuccessful, but did not recommend surgery at any time. Due to the fact that the pain required a lot of medication I was finally driven to find another rheumatologist, who almost immediately referred me to a surgeon after checking the MRIs etc. I have now had knee replacements and am walking pain-free for the first time in 30 years. So, while it saddens me to say it, I feel I wasted years seeing a doctor who clearly saw no need for me to be out of pain.

I have ankylosing Spondylitis. Dr. Morassut has been looking after me for about 12 years now. She is very knowledgeable and is will to try different medications to help my condition, although I have found the best medication of all. Exercise! I don't like the wait times and try for an early morning appointment.
