I have been going to Dr. Dickson for some 20 years, which says what I think of him. He has handled every problem I have come to him with, with wisdom and compassion. He is always a professional. When I have had emotional problems, like after my wife died, he has even taken extra time to talk with me even though that is not the problem I came to him for. He has literally treated me for everything from head to toe. His staff is the best! His busy office should say something about the kind of doctor he is.

I've been with Dr. Dickson since he opened his practice. He has always been professional, knowledgeable and cordial with me. He keeps current with his medicine. He's a good diagnostician, but knows when to refer to specialists. I'll be sorry when I have to find another doc if he ever retires. I am completely baffled by the negative comments I see in these reviews. The Doc takes care of hundreds of patients......... if you are sick enough to actually call the guy on his non-working day with his family, you are sick enough to just go to ER. The whole staff works their tails off during the week, if you just want attention just get it then. If you need immediate medical aid go to ER. Honestly...........

Great doc that gets to the point and has accurate diagnosis. Other comments would seem to be from patients more interested in long verbal visits, however; I appreciate his efficiency and the fact that he has other patients to visit

he is a hard one to get to know one time he gives you all the time in the world the next time he is cold and rude. he was so rude to me one week end after calling him i was so shocked by the way he treated me i didn't know if i would ever go back unfortunately i did and i let it happen to me 1 more time and that was it. i don't need to pay that kind of money to have someone be rude!!! learn some bedside manners

Dr. Dickson is at best verbally abusive and at worst a misogynist. I tried to contact him on a weekend because I was really sick, and he was extremely rude to me on the phone and told me I should just go to the ER. He was very annoyed at having been interrupted by a patient on a Sun. I guess no one told him that's what happens when you're on call. The next day, when I went in to see him for an appointment, I told him the problem I was having might be related to my family history. His response was, "Do you even have any idea what you're talking about? I can tell we're not going to be in a doctor-patient relationship for very long." What?? Then, later, he asked me, "Do you really even want to get well?" No, Dr. Dickson, I just came to see you because I want to stay sick. I brought you all my medical records because I want to be sick. He didn't even look at my records before making a "diagnosis." I would recommend Dr. Kelli Jacobs in Bellingham. She is both kind and competent.

I found him very rude, smug and arrogant. I got no help from him at all. A friend ended up diagnosing my Diabetes not the Dr. I went many times saying how sick I felt. He literally laughed in my face. He told me "you are like a pre-med student that has researched a disease and now you think you have it." When finally diagnosed my blood sugar was 600. After going to another Dr, I found I was depleted in Vitamin D and progesterone also which were causing me serious health problems. Dr Dickson helped with NONE of these issues nor did I feel he even tried. I was having bad back pains. He sent me to Xray. I called several times to find out the results. I was told on a couple occasions "the nurse will have to call you back with the results". I never heard anything. I assumed then, nothing to report. My next apt, he yelled and said he had made an apt. for me with someone about my spine and I never showed up! NOBODY ever called me and told me my spine was fractured or further apts made! UGH

Very uncaring. Didn't even listen to me and was unwilling to look at my past medical records. Acted as if I had no idea what I was talking about.
