I understand the health system is stretched thin but come on Dr Cameron if you are going to choose to continue to work as a physician I believe you can do better!! Not Compassionate! No empathy!! Poor Judgment on Medical Diagnosis as you are trying to push the patient out the door and not taking the time to listen and properly diagnose!! I believe your the reason my father had a stroke you also sent my Husband home from the ER a few years ago and he almost died as he was misdiagnosed and had to return to the ER 12 hours later! Your attitude needs an adjustment for sure but with the lack of doctors I guess you feel ok because in the end your safe there with your job…so you rush misdiagnose , cover up , belittle people and so on but at the end of the day you have to live with yourself. I know we have a doctor shortage and no doubt your load is heavy my advice is if you choose to continue working as a physician and collecting a pay cheque Do Better you are working with someone’s mother,father, brother or sister and someone loves that person very much. Slow down, listen, be compassionate and take the time to make a proper medical diagnosis that’s what you took an Oath to do

Pretty sure this is the doctor i seen at emerg in summerside a couple of days ago and i was never so mad in all my life i was treated extremely horrible and felt as though he just wanted me out of there the whole time i am 16 and i could barely walk going in and i sat there and listened to him basically growl me because i didnt go see the same emerg doctor as before for my issue when even when i told him that the emerg i went to was closed and i had no way of knowing when the same doctor would be there as he is not my family doctor. He basically told me there was nothing he could do and told me to go home and read papers he printed off about the issue when i literally sat there and just told him everything that was on those papers! The first doctor i seen told me if it wasnt gona in a week to go back to a doctor right away so thats what i did and being sent home with no answers was not what i wanted. He does not do his job and seems to not care about his patients

This rating is way too high for this dick head. Went in to outpatients in 2007 for breathing problems. I know I'm not a doctor but I think I'd be better than this a**hole. Very ignorant person to be helping patients. I'm pretty sure I was having panic attacks but he kept telling me I was going through the early stages of menopause (I was 36 years old) and sent me home. Like, what kind of diagnosis is that?!
Recently I went into the ER for a gallbladder attack which eventually turned into surgery. I'm very claustrophobic and was having trouble breathing with a mask on along with being in incredible pain. I had the mask on but pulled out a little bit from the bottom so I could breathe. He told me to put it on completely. I wasn't going to put up with his sh*t. I told him that it was going on as far as it was and I didn't see him after that which I was happy about. If I would have known he was the "doctor" on call, I would have asked for someone else. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy!

I totally disagree with the review here given to Dr Scott. Cameron.I came to the ER by ambulance with severe back pain. Dr Cameron treated me with kindness & concern. I have to say thanks to him for his advice & prescribing me with the best medicine I needed. I have had great results from this med & it is not a narcotic which I appreciated. I have slowly been feeling better with my condition which will never go away but with his help I can live a more comfortable life with it. Thanks Dr Cameron!

This is the MOST USELESS Dr. in PEI. Like people have stated on these reviews he literally looks at you says you’re fine or that you have the flu - without running tests and sends you on your way. He doesn’t listen to your concerns, he gives you what his diagnosis is and then leaves. He told me one time that after I had a martial arts injury that the reason my foot still hurt was because I was “fat” turns out I actually had a 3rd degree ligament tear. Dr. Cameron is more concerned with doing as LITTLE as possible as he can than actually treating the patient. Or making sure it isn’t just the flu. PEI is becoming the worst province for Health Care and with Doctors like this people will die. I’m sorry but you can’t diagnose someone by just looking at them. Learn to do your job. AND the fact that the nurses just pass you off as well if you disagree with something is ABSOLUTELY FRUSTRATING. These ratings speak for themselves. Also if you could give a negative review I would have.

I've seen this doctor many times, but time total would be 3 minutes tops, in about 7 different visits to the ER. everything is the flu

Because he is an ER doctor, punctuality cannot be rated with any accuracy. However, he is such an intelligent, knowledgeable, warm and kind doctor. So down-to-earth and non-
Judgemental... one-of-a-kind. He is reminiscent of the days-gone-by doctor who made house calls! One can only be thankful to have Dr.Cameron as an ER doc. Truly a gem.

Could Health Canada PLEASE help us on PEI?? We are infested with corrupted, incompetent, non-licenced, abusive, doctors who know there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY, they write falsified records, they are overpaid to do corrupt things and cover up deaths, crimes, and their malpractice. There is NO one to make any complaints to as they are all related and/or corrupted themselves. HOW many people have to be victimized, horrifically abused, violated, physically and verbally attacked before someone off island will help us? This so called doctor death is as bed as all the rest.
