Didn't like the service, can never get through to the office. Would not recommend this office.

I have been seeing dr mast since 2001. And have been pleased with him, his work and his staff. I find it very convenient that his clinic will bill my insurance so I don't have to pay my self. The staff are very helpful and do what they can to fit me and my kids in when there is an emergency, even the lady dentist that works there now is super. If you want a relaxed atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, he's the guy to see

Dr mast is not a nice person and not nice to his staff. Very awkward man that dont know how to deal with people.

He is really terrific. I was very reluctant to try a new dentist after mine moved away many years ago. I had such poor experiences with previous dentists that I neglected my teeth for a while so by the time I decided to see Dr. Mast I was so anxious PLUS had years of catch up work required. My first appointment I just sat and talked with him. Didn't even get anything done (at my request). He probably thought I was nuts but he went along with me. Once we booked to get actual work done, he was so patient, kind, reassuring. His assistant was super and she was just as important to my comfort as he was. After several appointments I am much more at ease. His humour and being at ease helps a lot. Great reception and appointment staff. So helpful.

Be very careful of this dentists billing. If you have insurance they may bill your dentist more than once. Also when you pay your deductible to the dentist be sure to keep your receipt. My insurance has been billed three times by this dentist. The first time the dentist was not paid because whoever submitted the bill did not have the tooth number, the tooth surface or the dental code. When the dentist resubmitted the claim it was paid. Seven weeks later the dentist submitted the bill again. A bill that the insurance had already been paid. In addition my wife has been billed three times for the deductible. It was paid the day the dental work was done. So like I said keep your receipts, you may need them. Either the dentists accounting is very sloppy or there could be the appearance of something dishonest going on here. If you want to avoid a potential hassle with billing ,see another dentist.

Staff was great! Wait times are awful! And sometimes you will catch this dentist in an awfully grumpy mood which if you are already scared , make you worse. He is extremely helpful and knows his stuff.

I am and always have been petrified of dentists. I took a chance on Dr. Mast because of his good name. He blew away my expectations! I know going in there what to expect and I know I'll be treated with the utmost care. I am so happy with him; if i ever move out of Gander, I'll still come back to him for dental work! Even if I move hours & hours away! He's my dentist for life :))

Friendly staff but the concept of being respectful of appointment times is dreadful in this office. They seem to care little that all of us are busy people and cannot sit and wait 30, 45, 60 minutes beyond the scheduled time to be seen. Additionally, once called into an exam room, more long term waiting usually occurs. Dental care is quite good but I am forced to leave this dentist because I never know when I go there how much time will be lost just waiting around! A real pity. I do not want to start again with a new dentist (and would prefer never to leave my hygienist) but my time is more valuable than the folks in this office seem to realize or even care.

Wanted to get son assessed because he had accident at school. Never got the information we needed and ended up paying for all his dental ourselves. Charged for services we did not request. Son ended up having to get two crowns which was quite expensive, especially with no insurance.
