This doctor operated on my spine .i spent 3 months in a body cast before the surgery and 3 months after I came out of the cast and I was in agony I thought at the time that the fusion I had was broken but he did not believe me so he wouldn’t send me to some other surgeon for opinions of what could be wrong instead he sent me to Calgary for a CT scan which he thru at me saying he didn’t like it he said it was useless . He also did not prescribe me any pain meds instead I would have to go to the ER every night . 13 months took its toll on my life. I had to go to the ER and tell the head of the hospital ER I got lucky he was in the hospital. I told him my story and that I was going to jump off the bridge. He was furious with Dr Hurdle and back him in a corner within that month I was going to see the head of orthopedics at the hospital. By the time that happen I could hardly walk it was a nightmare what he put me thru not only for me but my family. I saw this doctor in Calgary and he believed me that something was wrong he opened me up and he was shocked of what he found he attached my pelvis to my spine with a wedge of bone which did not attached to the spine it was dead rubbing the spine away every time I took a step. OMG all the damage it caused 8 hours on the operating table. I dam neared died after the operation they asked me where was my next of kin. Cause they did not expect me to live but I managed to pull thru but I did and I didn’t have any more pain for 18 months the hard ware they had to remove cause it was loose I have been in pain ever since and there is too much spinal damage from Dr Hurdle leaving me for 13 months with a broken spinal fusion that was not done properly in the first place. He should never operate on a back cause he don’t know anything. I am in chronic pain every day and take morphine to help me cope with the pain.

This man destroyed my Mother's shoulder beyond repair. He did a partial knee replacement on my Aunt, which destroyed the bone in her leg, forcing her to have 2 more surgeries. I am happy to hear more didn't suffer. My Mother is now crippled. My Aunt has passed after spending more time in agony than she ever should have. Glad he can not cause anymore harm.

he performed surgery on both my wrists for carpal tunnel i had a savere case at age 28 and it did fix me up but due to my lack of rest being a workaholic i didnt heal as i shoukd have and need resurgery i am uneasy about having anyone else do the procedure as its a wide awake and dr.hurdle was very good at keeping me calm during the whole thing

After a shoulder injury in a fall, Dr. Hurdle has now retired. He served unceasingly, always caring and using his talents to improve someone's pain. He is greatly missed for his skills, sense of humor and reading relatedness. Best years are ahead for him. Thankyou

Dr. Hurdle is an amazing surgeon and human being, he has fixed both of my shoulders. Chronic pain kept me awake for many nights over twenty plus years. Rotator cuffs, ac joint resection on both shoulders in just 9 months, I am able to sleep again thanks' to this amazing surgeon. Great personality, extremely knowledgeable, I would highly recommend this doctor

I broke my arm pretty bad when I was younger and I remember him be very good to me, we even joked around a bit.
