I have been a patient of Dr. Sheriff for over twenty years. He has always provided compassionate and thoughtful care, even while supporting my challenging illness. I appreciate his forthright manner, and find the office and my bloodwork regimes organized and efficient. His staff is lovely and helpful, too. I feel fortunate to have him as my rheumatologist.

One of the worst experiences with a medical professional I've ever had. Did not ask me about my pain, dismissed my own observations and experience. Interrupted me EVERY time I spoke. He literally talked over me if I was speaking. When he saw that I had mentioned addiction history on the form, he launched into a lecture, telling me, "Well don't think you're gonna get any opiates out of me, cuz you're not. I've dealt with you people before." (YOU PEOPLE?)
I did not ask for drugs at any time, nor was that my intention, which is why I even mentioned my history at all FFS! I found him to be judgemental, and rude, and n
completely dismissive of anything I had to say about my own body and experience. Extremely disappointing.

My third rheumatologist due to moves, so far I won't rate him as high as the best because he hasn't had that opportunity, I will rate him considerably higher than the worst I've seen. I can't help but note the bad reviews are based on not liking is diagnosis and rarely on the actual care which to me is not fair to the doctor

In my situation he was just Fantastic . I hardly could walk into his office the first visit and now I am back to work ., mind you he put the fear in me by saying I was heading for a wheelchair so I worked hard and hear I am . Thanks Dc Sheriff
